Caller: Suspect Scam from Pay .Pal

It started as an Email to call this number as there had been possible access on my account, tempory closure ring and reactivate.

SCAM THROUGH PAYPAL!!! I have just had $58ish dollars taken and Paypal lists this number as connected to the transactin: it does not exist.

Caller: 1800 073 263

Got a $15 transaction through paypal

Caller: No one called. Was just a charge through Paypal in 4 with the number attached to the payee details

The charge on my card was for an online purchase I'd made through Paypal in 4. Was totally legit

$40 charged to my bank account through PayPal.
This number was attached.
This is a scam

Got two suspicious transactions from these number through paypal in my account using my bank account number

This number came up after an authorised payment from PayPal was taken from my account this number as shown in the transaction details of my bank

This person (a male ? from India/Indian) sent me an SMS saying to call the above 1800 number, when I did he said he was from Paypal and that there was a charge of $499.99 on my paypal account and he was going to check it for me. He asked for my email address which I gave (thinking he was a Paypal guy). Then when he asked for my bankcard details the alarm bells started ringing. I hung up. SCAMMER for sure!

1800 073 263 is the phone number attached to a recent Paypal transaction. There is no problem with the transaction, it all checks out with both Paypal and my bank. Puzzling...

They left message saying it was a call back but not say who they were. I have not requested call back from anyone though I have had ongoing issues with pay pal over suspicious e-mails etc. All sounds risky

When I rang the number back after checking with paypal that their number was
1800 162 432 it came up as diallin 1800 073 263 iunder the name jumpa and when I checked previous history it said that there was an outgoing call at the same time it originally rang lasting 36 mins 34 seconds. Not sure on this one???
