This number just rang for one second and hung up.

Received this call a few minutes ago, however, I didn't answer the call. Jumped online and googled the phone number and found this website....I'm so totally over 'rip off artists'!

Just received a call from this number at 6:30PM this afternoon (third time in 12 months) Asking for a Mrs Agnew..When I say "no one here by that name, not interested in whatever your selling". This is not a sales call and say they received notification that your Microsoft has a virus.. Even if you (1) tell them to take your number off their phone list, (2) tell them you don't have a computer, (3) tell them you aren't interested - Get a real job. They continue to call (this is the 3rd time in 12 Months. I've told them twice why are they calling this number when its listed on a do not call register.. they hang up pretty fast then.. Tried to list the "overseas" number as it came up on my caller id - But it says its not valid. Male with thick indian accent. http://www.acma.gov.au/WEB/STANDARD/pc=PC_312277

JUST GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER, PLAYED ALONG. TOTAL SCAM, DIDN'T DO WHAT THEY WERE ASKING BUT THEY BASICUALLY TRIED TO BUG MY COMPUTAR... I talked to them for ten mins so I could get their exact location and report them. Thank god for technology these days, they called the wrong person and karma's a bitch!

I just scream at them and they hang up. Next time they ring I am going to talk to them about something disgusting like a bodily function and see what they do. Really very annoying and they hang up pretty quickly when you give them stick, however, the constant calls are wearing.

I found this on caller id of missed calls. Phoned it and my phone records show it originates from Washington State, USA

had a few calls from either "overseas" or "private caller" then i finally managed to get this number from the phones call log. Just silence from all three calls.
However, previously I have had some Indian F@#$er telling me I have downloaded files that have infected my computer. I played with this D@#$head for 30 minutes while he tried to extract info from me posing as going through security steps using windows. I played him like I was the most retarded computer user. I wrote 2 emails to friends while doing this and had this guy spitting curry all over his keyboard. He got so worked up it was such a pleasure. HE finally hung up on ME. I laughed for nearly 5 minutes solid and had a warm glow all day long knowing I frustrated this greasy scammer so bad. If you have the time just screw with them.

I received a call last night and today with caller id showing overseas call. the guy told me the same of story like his mates that my computer has a virus. dam i said maybe i should get a dr to fix it. i like to have some fun and enjoy them hanging up on me. so sad. idiots!

Searched the above number on Google. Translated chinese websites and came up with the number being a chinese mobile. If you call them you get charged for the call (lots of money).

I have received this call four times now over the time of an hour and a half.they said there was errors on my computer and they could direct me how to clear it if i was signed on. unbeknown to them i was already on. 3 times there was a male called mark and the last a female named lisa.in the last call after i told her that i was "running apple" which i am not. she hung up on me. just proves its a scam. do not do it at all. there is now error. microsoft will never ever call you, neither will any other company. please stay safe guys

Got a call today from these people again. Had one yesterday with the pause and goodbye. It lists as overseas number on our phone. I ask where they are calling from, they say Australia. I say no you are not cause my phone comes up with unknown overseas. If you want a bit of fun, act dumb and say yes you need a computer. How much for new one and where you can get one from. They don't really like that either. Certainly puts a smile on my face.

"Microsoft" calling to let me know (yet again) that I have a virus on my computer. I have had them ring numerous times and now I just hang up on them. However, I have just received two calls in the last 5 minutes and am waiting for them to call again - I have found my children's whistle. They are a pain in the .... !!

silence and then a beep and a machine saying 'goodbye'. Is it possible to bar them from calling?

I just received a call this evening, saying that they've just 'fixed' my housemates computer, they told him the same story, he believed it, he paid them money to 'keep his computer monitored for the next 3 years' and now they say they want to 'fix' another computer that is on the same network. He's 70 and believed every word, I asked them a few questions about how we can verify who they are, they hung up.

Just got a call from this number purporting to be from Windows Support.
Spoke in a very heavy Scottish accent and when asked to press CTRL / Windows button, I informed the chap that my Computer is Scottish and the symbol is a Banana.......he hung up

I've had two unanswered calls from this number. Now that I've found this list of comments and complaints, I can rest assured that the call is unimportant. Thank you.
