Fraud call from overseas staying they are a computer service and you are having problems with your computer/Internet etc

1st I got acall from Good day Australia, which a company that is part of a mailing service, that is hooked up to electric wholesaler companies, so when you but a new toaster or laptop, you fill out the card, & put your email address or phone number, 9/10 it is the email account related to hm ph, so they hack it or ring you.when they ring, they will tell you sum bull about being the repairer, sumtimes both sexes, if they can't get enough info over the phone, they then access to your internet account, they don't need the password, they have password generators, once in, they can change your details to suit them, so they can access your internet cable, by just ring you from their Skype Coomunication Number. Presently March 2012, telstra can't stop Skype calls, can't track them, can't block them, nothing. So if your on one of these package deals, you probally don't know there using it. But they are, not everyday, but they can, & no one can stop them....Unless you either change your phone number, but via your email account detail, after several days, they can get the new number, & their back again. Or The only true way, is change your user account, this will take a couple of days to do, so no internet for 24 hours, & it all stops....!!!
They keep your number & email address as a future reference, you must change your password managers pass word as well, as they now a copy of everything in your pc always, as the internet flows straight into your computer.

Just keep a whistle by the phone. Next time they call just blow the whistle very hard, it will be quite a while before they make any calls again, they'll have to wait until they can hear properly again. Alternatively ask them to hold for a minute and then just put the phone down and go and do something else.

we have had numerous calls before, but they started again today, about 4 calls now, comes up as overseas on ph9one but also displays number...
surely there is a way to stop these morons!

Total scam. They always ring around 6pm when people are usually home. Either some rubbish about being from Microsoft and wanting to fix the virus on your computer. If you call their bluff they usually follow up with the ring then silence calls. I reported this to the "Do not Call Register but there is nothing they can do. Just hang up!

Scammers!!! Rang me and didnt say anything then didn't get off my phone line and my phone went all funny and I had to have Telstra come out and disconnect and reconnect

I gotta call from this Caller ID number, today. However, I didn't speak with anyone. They just disconnected when I answered.

Same problem, strong Indian accents allegedly from Microsoft & I have a virus - I'm a PC Techo & told them to shuv it!

We are up to 6 calls today, and 11 in last 3 days. So over it! Have tried everything (even the whistle) but they keep calling.

Had a call from this number today, all he said was 'Hello' and then hung up.

i just had the call i asked him what concern it was of his if my computer was downloading files he said they are corrupt i said if they are tat corrupt il call the police then he swiftly hung up

Just received a call from this number. Had a great time playing along since they are after what ever compuer system in my house was using microsoft windows 7. They werent happy when i said i needed exact IP address because hubby is a computer technician and we currently have 12 computers ranging from our personal, business and ones being repaired or built in the house. Maybe they should just give up their stupid scam since it's been going on since 2008 that i know of.

You can also ask them if they're wearing any underwear! that gets them eveytime hahahaha

Had these "special people" try to tell me something was wrong with my windows computer...I calmly told the Indian lady that I don't own a windows computer and they hung up.
But they let there number come up this time.

The mother f*cker guy name Brad which is actually Indian. I gonna f*ck him even he is in India.

I always check the number before I answer and noticed this call to be overseas and they kindly displayed their actual phone number as well. As we do not know anyone overseas at the moment, I knew it was some scam or Indian telemarketers. I told the Indian male that we are registered with ACMA DoNotCall and that he was receiving a fine and thanked him for displaying his number. He stopped talking and hung up straight away.

I get these calls quite alot, my normal response is.."thats weird, i dont have a computer as i dropped it and a forklift or truck ran over it....i had one person asking me when i was getting it back so they could ring me back, i told them dont bother as we are not getting one again, computers are being banned in my house due to you morons......one or two have said sorry to hear about the comp and hung up, the rest have just hung up.....was very surprised today though that the idiot actually allowed his number to be shown......morons as far as i am concerned, next time i mite just have to have a bit of a play with them and confuse them....lol

They just rang me. I said hello 5 times and was told I should be more polite. I then asked who is this?, she said why do you want to know who this is? I said because YOU rang me, she ended up hanging up on me. Sick of these scammers.

Got another one today - this time claiming to be from Bigpond.....hmmm, he soon hung up when I told him I dont have a computer

sick and tired of telemarketers who try and pray on th elderly.they always call at mealtimnes and are extremely annoying and wont take no for an answer finally had to get rude and hang up
