I'm not with CommBank, but it's worrying with Commonwealth Banks real phone number included, it looks even more legit, easy to fall for

sms from 0488 728 596 stating mobile number has been updated on com bank profile. I dont have a combank account, never have. 'call 13 2221 immediately and quote MC01' apparently bahaha knob-jockeys

Nasty and dirty scam that uses only part of the Com bank phone number.The 13 section (of 13 2221) is always part of the banks number but these scammers have removed 13 part. Do not ever answer the scam. By the way I am not a Com Bank customer yet the scammers are saying I am. So it must be a fraudulent scam.

third time this week this message and number has appeared on my phone each time from a different mobile number.
Just Keep blocking them - they might get the message eventually or get sprung (can only hope).
And I hope no-one replies to their link EVER!

The caller’s ID was 0447 150 531, I don’t have an account with CBA, obviously a scam

Received message to say my Combank account had been locked. Scam, as I dont have any accounts with commonwealth bank.
