SCAM!!!
Have received 3 SMS in the past 2 weeks claiming to be St George, adv they sent a letter on 30/8 for which I had 14 days to confirm my details by clicking the link or visiting a branch. I am not even with St George, and St George don't have a 1300 number???

Received email 20/8/2021 headed Westpac Group with attachment asking I fill the form out so they can update my information. Email asked I contact 1300 720 314 with any questions or concerns. I contacted Westpac using their published enquiries number and was informed the 1300 number was not a Westpac number. BEWARE.

Caller: No one but recieved a text

I received a text/email/letter from Westpac listing 1300 720 314 or dropping into a branch. I chose to call Westpac through the numbers available on their website NOT the number provided. The lady on the phone didn't have much information but once i logged into mobile banking, the same email was there. I popped into Westpac and provided an ID check for whatever trumped up reason these banks need it for. Do it in person but it was legit.

It's a scam. Text received from Westpac asking to call the number 1300 720 314 opt 4. Australia accent hold messages and man at other end. They are fishing for details.
Lovely man to chat to, and as much as I mucked him around I couldn't get him to bite! Very patiently waited for me to give over my personal info.

After receiving a text with this number, (saying I had 7 days to respond to a letter that had been sent) I called back 1300 720 314. I knew it was a hoax from the above messages, so I called from a private number just for a laugh. There are about 6 options for various banks and other financial areas. The various messages on hold sounds legitimate (I was on hold for ages) - then spoke to a girl who transferred me to another department. They ask for a reference, so I gave a fake number - but the girl sounded surprisingly legitimate and said to pop into my nearest Westpac branch to update my details

They emailed saying they need me to updated my details. Threatens to close the account if you don’t fill in the details in the form within 14 days.

Received an email pretending to be Westpac with a link to a form. They also sent me mail with the same looking SCAM letter.

Do not respond.

Do not fill the details.
