Not a scam. They are a genuine company. I called my bank to tell them I had a call from them in regards to some fraudulent transactions on my card. They assured me they were 100% safe and directly transferred me back to the call centre.
They had found 3 attempted transactions made in USA and they stopped them from going through for me.
They cancelled my card and are issuing me a new one but were polite enough to ask if I would like to withdraw money before they cancelled it. Good chaps!

Genuine card monitoring company for 50+ banks and credit unions. 24/7 team that also is the lost and stolen line after hours for many financial institutions. If you feel uncomfortable calling them back ring your bank. Vigil Fraud Bureau who work for a company called Cuscal Ltd located in Sydney NSW Yep a scammer. Convincing patter, well spoken and with an aussie accent. Unfazed when questioned. This is not scam, Should call your bank straight away. Caller: seriously
Anyone who says this is a scam number is an idiot, plain and simple. One of those peope who calls the number (even though they dont believe it is anything to do with their bank) to tell someone in the office 'i dont believe you are my bank, im gonna report this' and hangs up, goes straight here, vents. then goes into a branch, to find out it was legit all along - simple advise - CALL YOUR BANK!
I got a message on my phone from this number saying there was a fraud alert on my debit card. I was worried about it being a scam number so I didn't call it but went into my bank to check, and sure enough there was a fraudulent transaction on my card. The information at least was accurate. I can't say anything about the phone number because I spoke to people through the actual branch. This is NOT a scam if you were called by a private number asking to ring back on 1300 705 750.
This number is posted as the fraud detection service for multiple reputable banks, so it's a bit far-fetched that a scam would have convinced multiple legitimate businesses to list its number as the one to call for fraud.
I can confirm personally that Credit Union Australia also uses this company for fraud detection services. They were able to identify me and my credit cards based purely on my membership number (NOT account number) so they had little to gain.
I will come delete this comment if the card cancellation process does not go smoothly or as expected.
thanks for the link. yep a scam. they asked for details they shouldve had, were they the real deal. called me telling me there was fraudulent activity on my credit card . i told them nothing and called my bank . they had no knowledge of any fraud behaviour . and said the call was a scam Caller: Fraud Bureau
This is a legitimate number. Rang my bank to confirm it before they forwarded me. Anyone who thinks this is a scam number, I can assure you it’s not. Ring them back if you didn’t answer initially. My card kept getting denied when I was trying to order something online last night. Now it’s all solved.

I got a call from them saying there was fraudulent activity on my card, it seemed scammy, so I did what everyone should do: I RANG MY BANK, using their general phone number. They were happy to check the number out, and in this case it turned out to be legit. But don't trust a random off the internet, just ring your bank.
Well above board, contacted my bank directly and they confirmed the number as legit before calling back.

This phone number is legit! I noticed fraudulent activity on my card but it was late at night, so i decided to just call my bank in the morning and then i noticed i had a missed call from this number and a voice message saying they want to confirm transactions that were on my card. i called back and thought it was a scam as they straight away asked for my card number before saying anything else. After doing more research, i noticed this number was linked to my bank account (Credit Union Australia CUA) and multiple others under "report unauthorised transactions". I called back and was told that someone has made multiple failed attempts (and successful attempts) to buy stuff on my card. PLEASE CALL THIS NUMBER BACK (OR YOUR BANK!!) to get this sorted ASAP! Its a legit number for Police and Nurses Bank. U can go online and find the number under the credit card fraud section.
This is a genuine company. I entered the exp date wrong at a checkout and tried processing the payment several times, which locked my card for "suspected fraud". After being transferred to these guys via my bank, they only asked for my CC number, and after a quick explanation and investigation, they fixed the issue in under a minute. Still, I would urge everyone to check with their financial institution BEFORE making any calls to unknown companies regarding their cards. Caller: Bank Fraud Line
This is definitely NOT a scam. Got a SMS from my bank advising that there had been attempted fraudulent transactions on my debit card. I checked the number out on my bank's website and it is legitimate. Called the number and I was asked for details such as my date of birth and email address (which they have on record). For reference, this is so that they can confirm Proof of Record Ownership. They are dealing with your money and so must be certain that they are talking to the correct person. It does not automatically indicate a scam if you are asked for information like this.
not a scam. if ever unsure call your bank. if after hours call lost and stolen line for your credit union and you will go through to the same team.
