I got a text from a different mobile number asking me to call this number concerning an overdue gas bill. Doesn't look genuine, and other people who have had messages from 0488 825 105 think it's fake.

Sent this number via a text message asking to pay an overdue Alinta Energy bill. The number does say its Alinta energy but asks you to enter your mobile rather than an account number. Scam.

1300 403 205 is a direct line to the Interactive Payments system. The URL is a direct link to the online payment platform.

Legitimate.

Got a text saying overdue account. Have no account owing that is exactly $250. Think its a scam. Pressed to pay and said credit company wouldn't accept payment and to call a number.

Pretty sure it’s a scam.

Got a text from a number saying i had an overdue bill with a link to pay and a number to call 1300 403 205). When i called to ask about it, some of the dates didn’t add up and she kept pressuring me to pay now over the phone.

also the number in the text isn’t the same as the one on alinta energy’s website

Texted me to say my Gas bill is overdue and provided a link (that looks legit) with a phone number 1300 403 205 to call
