Ask the person for their employee number when you are on the phone with them and then call another number you trust for the bank. That banker can reach out to the same banker who contacted you. Caller: Scam perporting to be Westpac remediation branch

They left a voicemail asking me to call back on 1300 130 866. I googled the number and Google said it was Westpac. When I contacted the number they were very convincing, luckily my son contacted another WBC number and was told that Westpac was not trying to comtact us.
