Glad my Guardian phone blocked this number without me even knowing, lol.

The do not call register is not worth a pinch of salt, and the telco's need to step it up a bit..

Health and Wellness "survey". A scam I believe.

I have a panasonic pnlc1064 home phone which has a save & call block option in the menu which is great so any call like that with a few presses of a button then they cant call from that number anymore.We are also on the DNC register but sometimes wonder why as they still keep calling

Reached my voicemail at approximately 1 o'clock but did not leave a message. I am also on the DNC Register.

Answered hello in a daft voice and when they answered me I put the phone down and didn't hangup, they soon hung up and I then blocked their number...wish I could get a phone with an internal 500Gb hard drive because I will be blocking a lot more, we are also on the DNC register.

Same here, asked general questions at first, then personal at which point I hung up.

anyone know how to deal with the person on this phone number, I have had a few call from this phone number, and I don't pick up any more form this from phone numbers , this one is annoying, the person call so many times now , I know its a scam,

Fake number, Phillipino voice. She was still talking as I said 'I choose not to participate' and hung up.

My husband answered the first time, foreign female voice, said she was from Australian Health & Wellness Forum. That's as far as she got because he hung up. Within the 30 seconds, I took the next call, it was probably same woman, she said she was from Australian Health & Wellness Forum. I questioned her and she said it was a private company. She said she wasn't selling anything, just wanted to do a 3 minute survey and was there anyone there over 50. I told her I don't do any business over the phone, she was persistent that she only wanted to ask questions about my health, I said No and hung up. A fat lot of use it is to be on the Do Not Call register.

serial nuisance. There has to be a way to stop these scammers

Eventually he said hello, background noise as in call centre. When I did not speak, he hung up. Do not engage in conversation. A scam.

Said they were from Health and Wellness Forum. I hung up

Scam.. put on Block Call..

Keeps ringing, won't leave a message. Screen says "Unknown". Wish I could block these pests.

The DNC register is ineffective with these calls because they're not from within Australia. These are OS scam call centers, who are using fake caller ID to appear to come from within Australia.

Nope - they are "cloned" voip numbers. The actual number does not exists, yet they are able to fake the caller ID on the incoming call.

Like others rang couple of times and hung up. Second such call today I'm blaming the election (had a couple of those calls already) and I'm on the Do Not Call register not that iit's doing any good lately.

I returned their missed call a few minutes later. Got Telstra recorded message "number is not connected". It obviously is connected, so are they putting a recording of the Telstra voice onto their answering device?

Get sick of this number calling !!
