They scammed me more than $100

not a phone call but Amazon $0.0 credit (not debit or deduction)
Probably checking that the bank account is legit prior to processing a legit purchase I did.
Legit Amazon purchase was debited (deducted) afterwards.

Did you happen to click on an sms asking you to pay road toll or customs fees and got tricked onto entering your Cc details? I think it's a 3 step scam.

Phone number reference on in bank statement citing amazon for $0. Several transaction. When rung the number was not valid. This occurred after being scammed into entering details to pay road tolls.

Not a call but this number appeared on a bank reference for a fraudulent transaction. Reference was: (08) 6621 6107 Amazon Marketplace. SCAM.

Caller: Was not a call, but a referenced phone number

This number appeared in the description of a $0 Bank Transaction stating it was from Amazon, at the same time as another $0 transaction which referenced Visa. Both were related but bogus.
These appeared after receiving a call from (02) 7228 1102 claiming to be Amazon confirming a legitimate Gift Card purchase on Amazon AU.
I cancelled Cards, changed Passwords etc. as it was a scam. Not sure how they knew about the purchase.
