Got the call today. The girl with very Aussie accent even knew my surname and asked me if I had a car accident. I said no I didn’t. And she apologiesd and hung up instantly. Weird.

They said it was emergency response centre and asked if I had been in an accident I said no they then said has some one in the family reported an accident I said no and they hung up

Call connected and no-one answered then the call was disconnected. Called multiple times in the last few weeks. How do they call if I am on the Do Not Call register?

Cold call wanting to know if I had been in a car accident and offering help supposedly. Suggest this number is a 100% scam. When I tried to call back it went straight to engaged signal several times.

I missed the call and called back. Said he was calling from compulsory third party insurance about an accident I had. I asked where he was calling from. He had a Scottish accent. He said sorry to have troubled me and hung up.

Car accident insurance scam just called me to ask if I had been involved in a car accident within the last 12 months, when I challenged her and told her I had already had someone try this scam on me she started to argue so I just hung up.

Rings repeatedly every day. Not right!

had two calls now saying I may have been in an accident this year. I told them they were spammers and hung up on them.

I received call on my mobile asking if I had been in an accident in the past 12 months. I said NO and was advised I would be taken off their contact list. I think everyone should be aware as have heard of another scheme where they ask you a question where you answer YES - this is recorded and used for other purposes.

Male person called my mobile. Knew my first name and advised by him that he was making enquiries into a motor vehicle accident I had. Advised caller straight up that he was part of a scam and that I will be reporting his number to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Number came up as a Perth Western Australia number. Was speaking in an Australian accent. It is a pitty that the authorities are unable to take these numbers down immediately upon them being identified as a scam.

Call from a lady with an Australian accent, she said she was calling regarding the motor vehicle accident I had recently. I said I hadn't had one to which she replied, has someone in my household had one. No, it's just myself and my daughter in the house. She appologised and said she would take my number off their system so they can't bother me again. Number blocked!!
