They just keep ringing when i try to call back no one picks up the phone.

I called back number (08) 6247 9954 spoke to a woman but did not say for what company.

I also had a call saying they were the ATO, I had a tax debt and needed to pay. I asked his name (he sounded eastern european) he said hi name was Brad, I asked for his last name and he said it was "Hill". I told him where to go. And subsequently found out that Tax office will not make such a call and they will not give out their last name. Block these scammers

Blocked this number.. so many callers on different numbers I've been hounded. I've registered on the No not call register but they get through

I called the number back ending with 3 ie. 6247 9953 lady said it was Co. called Fibre Power - I’ll go see if they have legit web site.

Absolutely fuming. Answered a call from (08) 6247 9954 and when they began saying their calling from Energy Australia I told them I was busy in an appointment and couldn’t talk. The young female then questioned why I picked up when I was ‘so busy’ to which I replied shocked ‘uhm there’s no need to be rude’ she replied in a perky manner that she wasn’t being rude she just wanted to know why I answered when I was ‘busy’ clearly mocking me. Well I lost my cool and told her to go f*ck herself.

Persistent callers (from loads of different numbers) trying to sell a gas/energy product

Called and noone there and they hung up after 5 seconds. Scam for sure, blocked this number.. *sigh*

This bloody number calls me most days - half the time I miss the call but when I do pick up it either hangs up straight away, or just now I got an ocker sounding bloke who said "Hey howzit goin" and then hung up!! Argh - every single time I've tried to call back it just says number busy....they're driving me nuts!

Lady caller had a very slight kiwi accent to her voice but has lived here a while; said her company was Cyber Power. Introduced herself as Michelle but, tone of voice sounded untruthful.
Knew my first and last name. Background noise was a lot of other people talking on phones.
Asks a lot of questions that lead to yes answers. Could be a "yes scam" phone around.

received call from this number on my mobile. answered and noone spoke back. was on the line for about 10 seconds before i could hear some feint noise in the background.

I hung up realising if it takes this long to connect it has to be dodge.
