A scam caller claiming to be from the Tax Office and that I was in serious trouble, blah, blah. This would be very scary for someone who did not recognise it as a scam. BEWARE. Put the phone down. Don’t answer back. Don’t call back. Let them waste their time somewhere else. Or they could go and jump in a lake ... but that’s probably not likely.

Recording claiming to be the ATO and my file number has been suspended.

Call from (08) 6205 3427 to my mobile. Recorded voice claiming to be "Services Australia" or something like that advising me that a warrant had been issued for my arrest and that I should press 1 to avoid a criminal conviction. As a number of others have reported this same number I expect Telstra or an appropriate Government authority should be able to easily trace the owner of this service and take action against the perpetrators.

Scammers obviously. Saying TFN has been reported and I will be arrested. Why haven’t numbers been disconnected yet by police? Same numbers used last year for car accident scams.
Police need separate unit division for these scammers or they will continue to get worse! Police do not have the resources to do this part time...

Did not answer, and glad I didn't from previous comments. Cannot even register to do not call as I am a justice of the peace. Getting sick of all the scam callers recently. I don't owe money and do not want to buy your stuff. I am also a debt collector and know for a fact this is harassment but they get away with it because they are using loop holes where they are changing the number to call through. That is even if it’s the same asshats. Seriously what with the pandemic do all the scum come out to play. DON’T ANSWER CALLS IF I DON’T HAVE THEM IN CALL LIST. IF IT’S REAL DEAL THEY’D LEAVE A FREAKING MESSAGE. Apologises for my rant just had enough.

Called me claiming that my Tax ID has been suspended and I have a court case against me. I hung up as soon as they said about a court case against me, because DOUBT IT. Definitely a scam and it was a robotic voice.
