Scam number trying to steal your money.

This is not a scam! This is the number for the Rural Fire Brigade Association Queensland. It is genuine. They are aware that some people have tagged it as a scam , however they cannot do anything about that.

Why don't they have an Australian website? Why is their website registered in Washington state, USA?

Did not recognise the number so did not answer. Caller did not leave a message. Blocked and deleted

Call came through from this number today whilst I was talking to someone. Went to message bank. Message left was a woman whispering "you effing bitch". The location for the number on screen was Gympie.

Got called by this number this afternoon. Fella seemed a bit rough around the edges to sound legit. Glad a checked this page

I keep getting regular calls from this number and I have blocked it! It still shows up in my missed calls list but at least they can't get through anymore.

Received two silent calls in two days. Presumed scammers. Even if this is from a legitimate organization, why on earth would you still use cold call methods for fund raising in this day and age with scammers running wild?

First call from (07) 5480 1369 was silent, then an hour or so later a second call came in. It was silent for 10 seconds or so, then a female Australian identified herself as from "Royal Fire Brigade Association of Queensland". I knew that this was different from the Rural organization, so I hung up.

Yes I received a call from the RfD service. Now all phone companies should have this number as a registered number to show it is the royal flying doctors . It's not that hard.

RFB don't call to raise funds. get your facts right

Bob, they aren't charity callers though. These callers do call "on behalf of RFBAQ", (but without approval to use the name) but skim off 90% of what you give as fees and pass on the 10% to RFBAQ, most times. They are just crooks trashing the name of the fire brigade.

I called and spoke to a very nice person. They said I will be taken off the list for 2 years.
1 month later another call..

This number has called multiple times over the course of a few months. Never leaves a message, and the one time I answered they hung up on me. Guessing by the comments here not an honest caller.

Scammers I've blocked the a**holes yet they keep trying to call this is harassment I don't give a rat's about you lot bleating it's the fire service, they are 1st in QLD SO NOT MY PROBLEM
