scam caller. no message left

Caller: My Charity.com

This is a call centre that asks you to do a survey on which charities you would support. They sell the list of names and numbers to the charity, who then calls for a donation. As they are overseas, the Do Not Call has no power to stop it. New laws are needed to stop charities and other business from buying these lists.

This and very similarly sequenced numbers keep calling. Appreciate those reporting here.

Caller: No

I simply record the "name of the caller" to DONOTANSWER so when Siri announces who is calling she simply says "DO NOT ANSWER" so I don't. That is wasting their time not mine. And I get a laugh out of it every time.

Caller: My Charity Survey

Male asking if I would answer some Yes or No questions for a charity survey and that the charities would be in contact with me but you can opt out by going onto their website www.mycharitysurvey.com . Person asked me few personal questions which would have made me answer Yes, I changed the answer to correct instead of Yes. Don't like saying Yes or No to recorded calls, you can't be sure what they are up with your voice answers. He then asked for my suburb, I gave him my postcode which covers about 15 suburbs. Then he asked for my address. I told him "I'm not giving you my address", then after a pause he started to spell out part of my street name, then he wanted to know if it was a street or a road, my response was I'm hanging up.

every single day 4 or 5 scammers, when is the government or telecom going to intervene?

They rang when I was out but I never answer them anyway. I've had 2 calls in 2 days now from this so-called Australian Charity. This time he left a message saying who they were, what is the point? I would never call them back, they are simply scammers.

Have not seen or heard from this scammer for awhile, they never leave a message , hence why bother??? If they cannot leave a message on the answering machine why bother at all.

I never answer these scammers. They left a robotic message saying my bank account had been debited $500 to Amazon and e-bay.......what a load of crap!!
