Caller: Suncorp insurance
It is the Suncorp call centre. Legit number, not a scam.
Male indian caller @8.38 am. Claming to be from GIO Motor insurance. He wanted ro discuss "a matter" with me but need to verify my personal details first. I hung up.
If this is a ligit number how many different insurances are under one roof there/ do they represent? This is at least some kind of call centre wanting your business = money. One way or another.
Female caller claims to be from AAMI then tries to get personal details Caller: AAI Insurance/AAMI/Suncorp/GIO etc
Not a scam, insurance company phone number for those trading under AAI
Scam caller, hang up, do not give any personal details. Caller: Vero claims team
I am an insurance broker and this number called me in regards to one of my clients ongoing claims. This is a legit number not a scam.
This is a LEGITIMATE call from a LEGITIMATE phone number here in Australia, in Queensland in fact. It is the call centre for the Suncorp Group which comprises multiple bank brands and insurance companies including AAMI. We made a claim at the start of January this year and they have phoned myself and my wife a few times now as have we phoned them too. Our calls were to follow up on when we would see the claim paid so it is definitely a legitimate number. A quick phone call back to it will confirm your concerns, believe me - I was very cautious also to give my personal details the first time. You can always get them to email you if your concerned too. 😉 Legitimate call Caller: Aami
Legit caller was organising a tow for my car from my accident
Lady called and was very nice and polite but sneaky in trying to get me to confirm personal details. I didnt give anything away but called AAMI and they said that call was most likely a scam. Please be careful she was very convincing
a claim we had with suncorp
GIO, Suncorp AAMI Apia and a few others are all part of AAI. Not a scam, it is Vero insurance Above reviews are very confusing with some saying it’s legit and others saying it’s a scam call. how do you know for sure>? male - stating from Suncorp (indian) that thier cleint had reported there was an incident between my car and thier clinets. Wanted to know my personal details. I was reluctant and asked them toi kindly send to me in writing (email or post) sounded like a scam! I got a call from (07) 3732 2550 on my mobile at 6.13pm this evening. An Indian or similar girl said 'hello', then 'hello', as did I. After a short period she started speaking and the only word I understood was 'Shannons' Being the receiver of periodic calls of nuisance nature I asked her who she was and could not understand the response. I asked her to prove her bona fides by by telling me where I lived, which did not occur, I then asked if she could tell me how many cars I had insured (which are with Shannons) to receive an unintelligible response. I then concluded the call advising I would make a complaint with Shannons or other authorities if the call was mischievous. It's a scam caller, when you call back within 5 minutes the number comes up as disconnected. Definitely dodgy. Caller: Suncorp
Definitely Suncorp group called on my NSW Private Landline. This number is used by the call centre staff automated switchboards.
Also FYI, Suncorp owns GIO, AAMI, Shannon's and couple of others I can't think of right now.
It is AMMI calling - as they are calling out on the land line - they ill be required to ask for personal details to vouch for the call. This should occur only cause there has been a request - as in my case a claim report made. And they are responding
