Tried to get a quote for my car online. AS mentioned in many other complaints they send a pin to your phone then the quote procedures ends. They then call to finish the quote. This is not how I wish to do this. I don't want to talk to a person to get the quote as they will try everything to get your business. I would rather compare quotes online and then chose the best one for me.

Youi! Made the mistake of looking for quotes for car insurance. Everyone else emails or gives it to you online, these bastards call relentlessly the instant you press send. Plus, the bastards are dearer than everyone else and give you a gobfulf when you tell them.

I Used a fake name (Wilma). The next day I received spam email calling me Wilma with a picture of a naked women with legs apart.

I email asking if YOUI had my odometer reading as I have a policy for limited kms. A month goes by and no answer so emailed again I asked why no reply. Several calls from an unknown number then an email with...

Painful experience. Went online to get an online quote only to then get an immediate call. Spent almost 1 hr on the phone and the quote value changed 3 times. Then I got hounded by the sales person. I went with AAMI who would so much cheaper and they did an online quote with zero phone calls and a 5 min quote and payment. - easy. DONT HAND OVER YOUR NUMBER TO YOUI

Caller: Robo Voice Claimed to be Amazon

I get a robo voice telling me my Amazon Prime will be ending today and I'll be charged $99 unless I press 1 to talk to their cancellation team.
The weird thing here is that all the other complaints about this number on this page are for Youi Insurance. Two weeks ago I went through the quote process (first online then a call like all the others above) and I haven't taken them up on the insurance, and now I'm getting scam calls from this number... WOW. That's like commercial terrorism! I'll block the number too now. Big thanks to Reverse Australia for allowing us to share experiences. In good faith.

Try to get a quote online and they force you to enter your phone number, then they don't even show you the quote and this number calls multiple times, will never sign up because of this

I didn't find that. IE: Not even cheap in the first year. Almost doubled another quote. Still trying to pester me.

Received a message from these 'Scammers' that they "had phoned me and will try again tomorrow". A asked for an on-line quote but No Phone Contact. Blocked the contact. Knowing the usual practice from these b......, the will persist, though.

Wanted to get an online quote as I hate talking to these insurance companies as it's a complete waste of time and they force me to talk to a person and waste my time!
No thanks. I don't even want to know how much your premium is. I will just go with someone else who doesn't force you to speak to a mind numbing person just to get a quote.

Went on and on and, asked all the same questions I did on net it’s a pain in the bum.
So don’t bother.
