They have rung multiple times. Often if I answer I just hear a lot of conversation in the background. Last time they called a woman said she was Natalie and said she was calling about a car accident. I said it was a scam and hung up. I had previously also had similar calls from a mobile number which appeared to come from a garage in Salisbury SA but the person who called was a male with a very strong Indian accent.

ASked if I was the person to speak to re accident- I knew straight away what it was. I said NO and your speaking sh*t. "Why are you so Rude"
I did not tell her why, but should have .anyway I hung up on her then.Looked number up on computer and Bingo SCAMMER .

Same as this - “I was the person to talk re minor traffic accident. Told I didn't know what he was talking about--what minor traffic accident?--they immediately rang off then. Google search found this reverseaustralia website with recent similar calls. Thanks to everyone who posted a comment--I thought I was alone. Cheers.”

Freaking scammers. This sh*t needs to be tracked down by some government agency!!!

Ive been getting these calls. Havent answered yet. Will take them for a ride when i finally get the chance to pick up.

Scam about car accident insurance (3rd party) they call everyday. I have the number blocked through Who Called me? app

They unfortunately rang my mobile while I was dealing with another scammer on the home phone (they called from (02) 9337 1212), so I let my mobile ring out. I will now programme this number into my mobile as another scam call. Thankyou

I cant even understand what they... the accent is so thick.. get the impression they want money

I want to be able to report this call to the authorities who do I go to. I will not tolerate people telling me to get F**** and that he's sleeping with my mother in his b3d now. I am 64 years old and this needs to be stop what would have happened if my grandkids had answered the phone

This person/company needs to be stop this morning they rangg and swear at myself and my husband using foul language F**** you sleeping with your mother etc I don't understand why Telstra Optus or who ever their carrier is doesn't do something about. Does anybody know who I can report this too????

Called me 2 days in a row. When I picked the phone up the line was cut off. So...no ideas who was calling but after I read many reports on this page, I blocked the number.

No one speaks from the other end when answered. On blocked callers list now.

Scam. A lot of background noise, rude tone & kept asking if he was speaking to "...". I asked who I was speaking to. Scott from AMF (he avoided answering a couple of times). Then went on about traffic accident. Told him I wasn't in one & I hung up & blocked number. They'd tried calling previously (missed call).

Constant calls from this number to my mobile. Usually decline the call but today answered - caller knew my name which is interesting as the number is in my husband's name - not mine. Said I had an outstanding payment from a car accident. I have had no accidents. Hung up.

I just had the same call. They have called me numerous times so this time I answered the call. Their blurb was the same re a traffic accident I was supposed to have been in within the past 9 months. When I said no, they hung up. What is it that they are after????

they tried to told me about car insurance. When I told them I dont have a car they immediately hangup the call.

This number rings on my mobile often. Varies from every second day to once a week.

GRUBS!!! they are stating I was in a minor motor traffic accident- continuing to phone, incredibly persistant.

Interested to know if other people are receiving these calls from the Toowoomba area? Trying to pinpoint how these scammers got info.
