Scam alert - saying you've been in a minor car accident but the insurer has taken care of everything and there are funds waiting for you.

They don't talk when you answer.

Have called me FIVE TIMES on Viber in the last 4 days, and then a normal call today! Number blocked.

Called me stating that I had been in a minor accident within the last year (which I hadn`t) Hung up on them.

Want to know if I was the person to talk to about the recent car accident, said no, so he hung up British or South African accent

Scam saying they received a file stating you were in an accident within the last 12 months. Hung up immediately when I said no. Do not answer and block.

Called me by surname and said they were from AMS, when I asked who that was they hung up. Obviously a scam of some sort.

Called me about an accident I apparently had - What accident?? They hung up. Bloody Scammer!

Received a call the other day, was told it was about accident compensation (which is irrelevant to my circumstances, and I'm a lawyer anyway). Said I was not interested at all and hung up, so now the phone rings every day at 1.45pm only to have silence on the other end until the call drops out.

Caller with South African or British accident, called me by my ex-partner's surname, no doubt a scam.

said they were from AMS? Said I had been in an accident and wanted details. I asked who informed them that I had an accident and they immediately hung up.

Probably some scam artist.
