Rang about recent accident saying other party was paying $20,000 compensation to me. Asked who they were speaking to and they said me my name. I told them not involved in accident and they could keep my payout and hang up.

Had 3 calls the last 2 days scam

Missed a call from this number 3 times in the last week. Haven't answered after initially looking up the number and seeing it's an insurance scam. Been harassed by these mofos before.

Just had one of these calls - strange thing is I was involved in a minor(for me) accident a couple of months back - 3 car head to tail - other two cars written off. Very strong South African accent. knew my name said she was from third party insurance and the driver that hit me is accepting liability and I am to receive a cheque in compensation for inconvenience. She checked the address and gave me our old address so got the new address out of me to send the cheque to. Said someone will call in about an hour to discuss the amount of settlement. and get my current email. I got to this site trying to find the name of the company - thanks guys will be prepared now - think I will use the old "putting a trace on this call" and hit a few buttons on the phone - bogus people hang up real quick with that.

This number has called me everyday for the last 2 weeks, persistent a**^%holes. Amazing how these scumbags get your number.

Call from "AMS" regarding accident. Did not know my name. Hung up on further inquiry.
Clearly scam call.

We want to talk to (name witheld) about an international traffic accident of significient damage.
Our reply was we have never been to that contry.

We just hang made then a contact (Said they were fro Go Legal solicitors) and now hang up or don't answer.

I do not understand what their point is, pack of idiots, blocked 3 times they just keep ringing on another number!!!

Verifying other comments here. (07) 3180 0623 left a garbled message which was very hard to understand but seemed off. Reading these comments it fits he was mumbling about an 'accident' he was trying to follow up about. Hope someone smarter than me can catch him in the act and stop him, and I hope no one falls for this con artist.

I have received the same type of calls for the last 4 months every day says I have had an accident recently, even though I have not had an accident for the last 2 years. Everyday is a new number after I have blocked the previous number. Extremely disturbing.

Have been getting calls from this number for weeks now...Never answered the call even once. Thanks to Truecaller app which clearly identifies such scammers and alerts you before answering such calls.

Numerous calls from this number, enquiring about a recent car accident my husband had. Saying they are an association that works with insurance companies to help people get CTP payouts. Very persistent. Wouldn’t answer any questions about who they were or how they got my details.

Oh and to follow up from my post about him verbally attacking me when he first rang and I asked his name he said..... uhh mmmichael..?.
Ha, nothing suspicious about that!

Just had a call from this number and he was verbally abusive and called me all sorts of offensive horrible names for calling him out on the scam.

This number has been calling me for weeks now, and left a voicemail asking if I was involved in an accident. I’m like what!!! So I called back, and they decline the call straight away. Then I googled it and found this. Thanks everyone, I can’t wait until they call again.
