I went on the youi website just to get a quote to see what is out there. I was happy to do it online... You have to put your mobile number on there to get the code to unlock it so you can go to the next step... The next minute it says you are a preferred customer and they will ring you..... They had so much trouble trying to confirm my date of birth they had to ring me back 10 minutes later..... Then he tells me the price and I almost hit the floor. please avoid as they are pushy salespeople that just want to meet their quota for the day

I think the nain problem here is they had a CallMe button--which I chose not to push. I was given a choice in the matter and they have ignored my request.

I phoned youi for a quote on comprehensive boat insurance because I had seen their ads on tv. They were triple the price of anywhere else. The guy on the phone was EXTREMELY pushy. After 45minutes and ATLEAST 20 times saying "I do not want to sign up to anything I just want a quote", I hung up!! He dropped the price twice from $186 originally to $146. And kept telling me (telling not asking) to go get my card details so we could get me "sorted".
Since then I have had email after email and phonecall after phonecall (6-7 a day) from the same "STEVE" trying to get me to sign up. All have been ignored.

I also went online to get a quote at 11 pm they called back and was on the phone 39 minutes to get a quote $300 more expensive ! I've had 4 missed calls since 5 today and it's less than 24 hours since the quote . Annoying if I want an online quote I don't want to speak to someone !

Don't put your phone numbe in if you don't want a quote. Youi are great, I've saved hundreds of dollars on insurance both house and car

If you people don't want them calling, why go through the quote process? What did you expect to happen? They are a business and all you're doing is showing how ignorant you really are

Never ever put you mobile number into a YOUI online quote. Unlike reputable insurance companies that crunch out a real online quote for your consideration, all YOUI is use your mobile number once validated online to try to phone you (over and over again) to negotiate a price. YOUI simply steal all your personal details without privacy or compensation.

the number (07) 3719 4800 is youi insurance line. they are deceitful and way out of touch in how to obtain new clients..you 'cant' obtain an on line quote at all without offering a phone number and they WILL CALL YOU INCESSANTLY once you do so, so be warned..I went through hell getting them to bugger off and stop calling me. the way to do it quickly is to call them or email them, tell them that you are going to report them to the relevant ombudsman in your state and believe me they will stop calling. Once you make a formal complain to your ombudsman they have 7 days to rectify the situation ..they get an immediate fine but if they fail to comply and you continue your complaint with the ombudsman then they get massive fines of several thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars..this is the way to stop them from doing this sort of thing to people so dont ignore them..please tell them you WILL make a formal complain to your ombudsman and do it! its so worth it believe me.:)
its the ONLY way to make them change their system and policies..the ombudsman have to follow through on your behalf by law!!
