YOUI! Is it really that hard to just request a quote to see, without being HOUNDED by these people?? Argh. I just wanted a rough indication, and now I have several more numbers to add to my blocked calls list

I genuinely wanted to get a quote from Youi, so I went online and filled out their enquiry form. Now this number keeps ringing me. When I answer, they just hang up. So I have no quote and a bunch of time wasting calls. Useless!!

They ring me several times a day ..even on weekends and early morning and later at night ...not in business hours and I haven't any record of my ringing that number yet they harass me constantly...I have now blocked that number

Today I received a hang up from (07) 3166 4800 (actually there was no one on the other end) Then 5 mins later a second call....when I said hello a few times, a voice started swearing the F word and obscenities. I hung up and blocked their number after reading this thread. These 2 harrassment calls were a result of doing the YOUI online quote and then having to input my mobile number. To proceed they called me and quoted verbally over the phone. However, in order to fomalise the quote they would not email me a copy unless I gave them my credit card details then and there....to which I replied NO WAY.

I enquired about an online quote which was double what GIO charge. Almost fell off my chair. I was very careful to ask them to respectfully not contact me. I was doing the ring around, if I wanted to speak to someone regarding the quote I would call them. But they continue to call me. And i continue to block them.
Another number they keep calling me from is (07) 3719 4800.
They do themselves a disservice the way they operate. They are very pushy and annoying.

I tried an online quote (after viewing a TV) Ad and within seconds a lady named Karen calls me from (I hope it really was) YOUi. Goes through the whole rigmarole and after 30 minutes produces a quote (about 8% higher than my current one). Then wants my credit card number! I told her I am not giving her credit card details unless I initiate a phone call to a well advertised 13 or 1300 number. How do I know she is not a phisher calling from Russia, and the next thing I know is that my credit card is maxed out by scammers. Besides I need to carefully mull over a quote and decide. Pushy lady keeps demanding my credit card number. I had to yell, sorry and hang up!

I went online for an insurance quote. Youi called 10 times and left 7 voice messages the next day. I will never insure with Youi and have gone to their website to tell them that. This company has ZERO ETHICS and should not be allowed to handle people's insurance.

I have blocked these numbers (07) 3166 4800 and (07) 3719 4800 ; it 's crazy i havn;t consented them to ring me , but got caught out on their web trap ....i would never ever , ever never go to youi ....they vé rung 10 times with last 24 hours and worse at 7:15 am this morning , this is ridiculous

Did an online quote next thing I knew was called up from (07) 3166 4800 asking to verify all my private and personal details eg DOB which I objected to confirming over the phone to any and every private and personal call - how do I know it was YOUI !? there has to be some level of trust at the quotation stage a complete stranger
still no quote went ahead with suncorp as the most competitive in the end

I requested an on line quote on Friday night. I got a pin within three min and then and phone call within 5 min. There prices are $300 more expensive that Allianz I have told them that however they keep trying to sell me a lesser policy for more money. They have called me about 7 - 8 times per day - Push sales people that's for sure.

YOUI can be just so pushy.

I emailed them to cancel a policy, (house & contents), one policy expires is 20 days the other in four months. I phoning them a week back but was coerced into NOT cancelling.

I have already taken policies with Coles Insurance, so the choice is no longer an option. So I today emailed them today, hit send, & within three minutes (no exaggeration) I get the dreaded call which I did NOT answer. I had said in the email all that needed to be said & was somewhat critical of their sales methods.

I mean to say, significantly dearer than combined policies with Coles so YOUI then tries to "suggest" if I lower cover, double specified excesses they can "almost" offer the same premium, but no where near if I take combined policies with them.

YOUI accept the cancellation, I don't need to talk again with my "new best friend"! Give me a break!!!
