I called back number (07) 3103 8398 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

They left an automated message saying my eBay account was going to be debited $199.99 for an ITunes gift card.
I rang them back & he started to take me through the process of getting. Refund..
He wanted me to download the teamviewer app.. I said no & hung up..

Caller: Scam

They tried to call being eBay customer service regarding my account being hacked. They also called yesterday on a different number ‭(02) 5133 5588‬. Beware.

The same thing just happened to me, except fora $350 Coles card.

I called back, the caller claimed to be customer service from eBay. They even gave me their “name” and “employee ID”. They said that someone had created an eBay account under my name and bought an $199.99 iTunes voucher. When they said I had to follow instructions to connect my phone which rang alarm bells of scam so I hung up. I’ve reported this incident to eBay as well via their website chat service.

They claimed to be eBay and some story about an iTunes gift card.

Scammer again. Block them. These low lives have nothing better to do then prey on innocent people.

It is a scammer claiming to be the ato, had these called before. I told him it was bullsh*t and he said ‘no not bull crap’ I told him he should stop what he is doing to innocent people as bad will come back to him. And he said ‘no why should I stop, who the ef are you to tell me’
Be careful of people claiming to be the ATO.
