Caller: A woman speaking poor English

Claimed she was the security division of the Commonwealth Bank and problem with my account. Guess who doesn't even have a CBA account.

Automated female voice saying Amazon subscription was being renewed and to press 1

Called, I didn’t answer, no message, probably scammer

LOL Luckily i googled it too

Scam call - saying my internet had been compromised. Sick to death of these damn nuisances. Pls do something to stop them.

Called saying they were from Telstra. I realise it was a scam as they told me the email that I was getting my bills sent to was incorrect. Asked me to give them text code sent via text message to access my ‘Telstra’ account, text I got was from Microsoft, not Telstra. I told them I had to go pick up kids, the got very pushy and abrupt so I hung up. Tried to call my husband to give the heads up, they tried to call back, this time my phone flagged as spam.

Called but did not leave a message like he hung up immediately!

Scam call claiming to be from the security department enquiring about an international visa card payment. As soon as I said I knew that was incorrect they hung up!

Caller: SCAM SAID HE WAS FROM TELSTRA BUT CLEARLY WAS NOT

HE SAID THAT SOMEONE WAS ACCESSING AND USING MY WIFI AND WANTED TO INSTRUCT ME TO MAKE SOME CHANGES ON MY COMPUTER/WIFI - AS SOON AS I SAID IT SOUNDED LIKE A SCAM HE HUNG UP

Female with NESB accent claiming to be from PayPal. Said they’re checking I have authorised a payment of $840. Definite scam

Caller: No one on the end of the line computer sounds

Had eight calls from this number so far today, as it is our landline I am unable to block the number.

Caller: SCAM ALERT

Said his name was David from the Commonwealth bank - I hung up

they called left no message so reckon scammers

Gentleman with Indian accent told me that there has been transactions on my account at 4:00am this morning from a dude (he even gave him a name) in Boston.
I told him it's all good, it's my cousin :) - then he hung up on me :(

Robocall with threatening message. Nuke the call.

Hung up after a pause getting an answer on the line. Typical for overseas call centre. Turns out I was right, given what others have written.

Phone settings identified phone number as a scam caller and automatically blocked number.

Caller: Mastercard/Visa security division???

Recorded msg advising suspicious use of credit card for $1399 - press 1 to confirm if legit or press 2 to confirm dodgy. Since have not used a card in ages anyway, pressed option 3 - the disconnect button.
