Didn’t answer as suspicious and then looked here and found I made the right decision 🙄

Caller: A lady saying she is from Amazon

She said my amazon account is being used by other people and lots of fraud transactions.
A lot of noise in the background like several ppl talking and giving instructions over the phone. I reported this to amazon.

There was a lot of background noise and the connection was poor which made me suspicious. Claimed that my internet had inadvertently moved from a private to a public network and could be compromised,

Foreign person. Fraud.

The guy had to think about his name, noisy background, told me my Internet was not safe or secure. Said he was from NBN…

Called telling me of a security breach on my Mastercard. I only have visa

Caller: A man claiming to be from the security division of visa and mastercard.

I had trouble understanding him. He claimed we had a suspicious transaction at a racecourse at 4am. Upon questioning which bank, he said Westpac which we do not use.
