This number called me 3 times yesterday and has started again today.
The first time i answered it, nothing was said. It was blank the whole time, so i hung up. I didn't answer it again later.

Today, I answered, said hello and an automated voice said "goodbye" and hung up.

SCAM

Filled out survey from Coles and receiving calls ever since. I've never answered and they never leave a message. Calling me 3 times a day from different numbers last week. I was also getting SMS from "Frank Brown" and "Michael P" saying I've won a prize and have a URL to click on which leads to a survey or another website for you to enter bank account details.
Now calling once a day from a different number everyday.

Some people have filled out surveys (for gift voucher or to be a mystery shopper) from Woolworths, Aldi, Jetstar, Virgin and have started receiving these calls also. These scams are on all the websites we use so beware!

Don't answer.
Some people are getting calls and emails.
People are saying that they want a recording of you saying YES so that they can use it for other purposes. Once they've heard you say YES they end the call.
Some people are saying that the caller is selling funeral/life/pet insurance or advising that they've won a competition or in the draw for $250 000 or an iphone.

Whether they are selling something, are a scam or want a recording of your voice, they are checking if your number is active and will keep calling if you keep answering.

One complainant has said that it may be an automated system that makes the calls and if you answer the call, the system puts your call through to a telemarketer. If you answer and don't say anything the system will hang up.

Do not call register doesn't work when they are calling from overseas. Apparently you can buy these Australian area code numbers online to route calls through.

Some people are saying you can block they're numbers by emailing consumercare @ brandsofchoice.com.au
but I don't want to risk sending an email and they realise it's active and they reply with spam or keep calling.

I've never answered and they never leave a message.

First time this number called, nobody answered. Second time (the next day) I just let it ring out?? No idea who it was!

I don't even answer my phone anymore as every number I don't know ends up being these bastards.

Company gained my number through a scam competition (fake page) on Facebook. I know this as my number is silent and it was the only time i gave out my phone number. i asked the lady who called how she got my number, she response was "the white pages" i put her in her place very quickly, told her that was a complete lie and demanded my name get taken off the list before i created a sh*t storm for them

Same here. so over numbers that ring you and they do not speak. They expect you to then ring them back. Another number added to my blocked caller list

This is a telemarketing group, It seems they're ignoring the DoNotCall List in Australia.. This is a serious offence if found so.
