Caller: Insurance scam

They knew my name and said they were from an inaudible insurance centre. They were calling about an accident I had been involved with.. too dodgy so I just said no to all questions.

This number continues to call... Thank you Nez for finding out it is a SCAM, number now Blocked.

Similar call to threads above - Indian accent calling from (inaudible) insurance Company about recent car accident. Said 'You're calling wrong person" at which point they hung up. Number blocked and reported as fraud.

Caller: Scam call showing it was from Brisbane

Indian accent. Claiming to be from an insurance company and calling about an accident. Had to ask them who was calling as no introduction at all. Lots of background noise of other calls.

I just got a call from this number. He new my name and the story is same as others. He repeatedly asked me “ you had an accident a few months back ok “. I said it’s not ok, I’m not going to answer anything. If you have my details you should have my email address too, so send me an email and hung up. Then Googled the number and seen all these comments.

I couldn’t understand the caller , I told that to whoever it was , told them to
Get lost and hung up. I will now block that number.

Insurance scam

Caller: Male foreigner voice, poor quality audio.

Knew my first name, and said he was calling from an insurance company and had a payout for me. When quizzed said from racq. He stated he could not provide particulars of accident as being recorded. As I inquired further he disconnected call.

Could barely hear and made out that they were calling about a car accident from years ago and as soon as I said it wasn’t me they hung up. Major scam

Claimed to be <unintelligible> insurance company about a car accident tin the past two years. Then said RAC insurance and finally RACQ when asked again. I asked them to contact me by email or post and that I suspected this was a scam call. Immediate disconnect when I said the word scam.
