Knew my name and said he was calling from RACQ insurance about an accident I had apparently been involved in which wasn't my fault. I told him I haven't had an accident and he must have the wrong person then he hung up on me!

When this number called my phone, I missed it. Have read comments attached to this number, so won’t be returning. 😂 This scam is years old .. when are these stupid people going to realise we are aware. They are wasting their time & ours, except only a few seconds of mine.

strong Indian accent which I couldn't understand where he was calling from, I hung up as soon as he said that I recently had a car accident.

Yep, it’s an insurance scam asking if you’ve ‘been in an accident recently’. I said lol no and hung up last week but they called back and I missed it. Had a whole scam prepared for the scammer too!

Knew my name and said they were from insurance calling about car accident I had recently. When I said I don’t know what your talking about they hung up. Number is disconnected when trying to call back.

OVERSEAS CALL CENTRE SCAM - knew my name but nothing else. Regarding a car accident, which coincidently I am just currently dealing with. Wanted to give me $10-$15,000. I said to contact my insurer to deal with it lol

Caller: claiming they are Allianz insurance

Insurance scam, also very rude. saying they are aware of my car had an accident which I am not the faulty side.
I told them they have called wrong number, and they hang up quickly without any apologize etc.

Refered to me by name and asked about a recent car accident, that I had not been in. Said no and they instantly hung up.

called then hung up. When i called back, my provider automated that this number had been disconnected already

Insurance scam. They knew my full name. Same as above. Accident. I was not at fault. Can get 10 - 15 k. I told him where to go and hung up.

Said he was from “Insurance Company”. “RACQ”. Knew my first name and asked for verification that I was in a car accident within the last 2 years and was asking for the date. He said I’m entitled to $10,000-$15,000 from the third party insurance. I confronted her m on what he was doing. Couldn’t tell me what car I was driving. He hung up on me.
