Caller: Scam likely Lexi Alexandra claimed to be from commonwealth bank; told me there was a fraudulent charge of $499 on my account- sounded unlikely so I hung up.

Caller: Unknown Like many of the others, rang and did not answer. No message left. When rang back said message bank full. Sorry I do not think any bank card centre would use a mobile phone to call and I would hope they'd also send a message via their Netbank service.

Caller: Scammer Called 19/02/2024 said he was from Commonwealth bank and I had processed a $499 payment. Once I said I don't bank with them he promptly hung up.

Caller: Said she was from the givernment acc(or similar) Said my phone number had been hacked and being used in Australia and USA. Austrailia is me using it. USA is money laundering and down loading child p#$n. I asked her to hold while I get a pen so I could write down all her details. And commented about all the noise in her call center. She hung up. Obrang back. Yup mail box full.

Caller: Don't know Said they were calling from Commonwealth Bank, there were different fraudulent transactions on my account. He wanted me to make a payment which I refused and I said I would call the bank straight away. They said the bank won't help me so I hung up.

Caller: 0488 878 924 This call was flagged on my phone as spam so it didn't call. When I called it back I got a message saying that due to technical difficulties my call could not be connected and to try calling back later.

Caller: Apparently Rachel from Telstra Said they have detected bad internet speeds so are upgrading my service. Am I connected to my internet at the moment (answered nuh) then asked when would I be (answered dunno) her reply was ok Thankyou ma’am have a good day. - clearly attempted scam but realised I wasn’t taking the bait so moved on very quickly.
