Caller: Gmail Security Department

These guys try to interrogate me as to why my email address which I do not have is being accessed from across the world. I tried to explain that I have no idea and since they are the “Security “ Department, maybe they should investigate it. I also mentioned that every time my phone is called from an unknown number it’ is flagged by Australian Federal Police. Cybersecurity Unit and then she hung up 🙄🙄

Caller: Visa/Mastercard security department

Heavily accented female voice. Claimed to be from Visa/Mastercard security department. Ringing about possible fraudulent transactions on my card. Refused to tell me which card. I hung up after a few well chosen expletives.

Didn't leave a message, I assumed it was a scam. I checked here and three other notifications. I have not blocked, deleted and "reported junk".

SCAM, I was told they have updated the DNC registry, lots of bla bla bla then wanted confirmation of my credit card details, please be aware & advise all your friends, obviously a New Scam they have come up with

Scam. Claimed to be from Telstra.

I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know . As per usual if it's important they will leave a message. I check this website to confirm if its a scam call. 8 times out of ten it is.

Told me from visa investigations about suspicious activity on Visa card Amazon and other had my name but incorrect state

VISA Mastercard fraud scam. Called twice at 5:30 AM and 12 noon.

Claimed they were ringing from Mastercard /American express card services alleging my cards had been compromised.Funny that don’t own any cards pay cash /cheque

I keep getting a spam call from numerous numbers like this one. Same number except the last digit changes ie ends in '793 or 794'.. I instantly block it because I just have a gut feeling they are a scammer.

We got scam call from this number as well

Caller: So called "Telstra"

Asian sounding woman claiming she was from Telstra. Obviously a scam or spam. I only answered because she called my work phone.

I missed the call - no message left so checked here. Blocked number after seeing all the scam warnings thanks!

Want your email password and bank details. Reported to cyber crime 2 weeks ago and yet their Australian number is still active. How odd.

Caller: 0488 878 792

Called (female with accent) stating that someone has used my email and phone in the USA to send pornography to people.
I laughed and then hung up. She then called me being aggressive on a different number (02) 8722 2533 asking why I hung up.

Said they were from eBay, and when I started pressing for details (account name etc) they hung up on me 😂
