Caller: Supposed to be Australian Visa Authority

Recorded message threatening me that I was at risk of arrest because my Australian visa has expired and the Chinese Embassy customer service centre can help me. I need to call the umber on my message they have sent. Idiots.

Tells me phone will be out of service for 2 hours

See my comment on (03) 7048 0109 as I received essentially the same call from both roughly an hour apart.

Tried to get my credit card number saying I’d had fraudulent transactions they were stopping and they were from the fraud squad that looked after Mastercard and Visa card transactions

No response when I answered the call (30 December 2023)

called today, we did not answer, it was already marked as scam

I didn’t answer, but I didn’t expect any calls so I rejected the call and look up this number. I’m glad I didn’t answer it.

Scam Mastercard call.

Recorded message telling me my phone would be out of service for next hours “due to abnormal usage”

No message left. Hope they ring again and will get "the treatment"

Didn't answer and they didn't leave a msg

I'm an aus citizen & don't have a visa from aus or any country

Didn't answer. Got voicemail saying phone will be out of service for 2 hours. Annoying

Caller called from China on Christmas Day. I didn’t recognise the number so didn’t answer it. A person has already logged on his number as someone from China threatening to arrest people if they don’t fix. visa issues.

Ignored call and got a recorded message. Was told my phone wouldn’t work for 2 hrs due to abnormal usage.
