I get this daily at different times of day, suppose they want to try and catch you at a 'convenient time'. Previously received 0488 828 544 too and think that is the same source. Never picked up as my search here showed it as spam. Thank you everyone for posting.

Also calls from numbers ending in 539 etc. When i call back it says thanks for calling public outreach and visit website. It appears they are a fundraising agency - raising for whomever employs them and specialising in hauling u into monthly regular direct debit donations. No thanks id rather donate direct so the charity gets 100% of the money.

Called me multiple times through the past weeks and today decided to answer because it was annoying me, the lady was actually nice and was chatting to me about my name for a bit because it’s obviously a weird spelling, but said that she would record the call and then I was like ok umm no. I let it play out for maybe 20 seconds more and she was just asking about my day so I don’t really know what the whole point of the call is, but yeah then I said my phone was on 1% which it actually was, hung up and blocked the number.

I've been receiving almost daily calls from 0488 828 545. I have not and will not be calling back after the comments of others regarding this number

This number calls me everyday & often late evening around 7:30/8pm
Super annoying & I just don’t answer

Ignored call, then called back and got the same message as previous posters about 'public outreach' spam, have blocked numbers. but they call from a different number each time.

I rang back (02) 5186 4329 once but the call got disconnected

Rang once then stopped. I didn’t call back.

Just wanting to know if this is a legitimate mobile phone no?
