Repeated calls from this number with no voicemail left - straight after I had answered a quiz for Bush Heritage Australia on Facebook!

they rang me twice so i googled the number and i now see its a scammer, i blocked them

I called back number 0488 828 540 rang once then goes to busy tone.

Caller: Public Outreach

This is a call centre organisation, second call today via a different mobile number. This morning 0488 828 539. All blocked. This organisation continues to harass me via my landline & mobile, continually changing numbers to get around blocks on my mobile.
Actually dealing with real life issues and waiting on important calls only to get this. It’s disgusting.
I will never support a charity that uses their services.

Just answered it and there was a loud beep and then they hung up. Definitely a scam

Caller: Scam/Nuisance call

It's the sixth time this number has called me. I block the number but they keep calling back. I finally had enough and told them if they don't stop harrassing me I'll report them to the police.

It was some kind of Australian Heritage thing looking for donations to protect yellow-footed wallabies, with the lengthy spiel given by a UK tourist. Good cause, but aggressive and wouldn't take no for an answer. I ended up hanging up. Block the number....

Caller: Said his name was david?

He was rude. Claimed I called him first which I did not. His constantly called 2 days in a row over and over I called back to see who it was and he refused to tell me only giving name David. I ask if he was a tradesmen or what the reason was he keeps calling he said he didn't and that I kept calling him. He continued to laugh and He was rude. I hang up and blocked the numbe.

Greenpeace - to "Thank me for doing a survey" and tell them about the good work they are doing. You try to tell them you are busy but they keep calling. International Students - Cheggers. Block

I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t recognise & I don’t call back if they don’t leave a message. These people have been calling me for about three weeks. If it was important they would leave a message.

Telemarketer but keep calling

I received a call from this number with no response from the number when I answered.
I used to be signed up to world heritage, so I am also in belief that this is a tie from them. I’ve blocked it now.

Same - I did that quiz as well, and I have been getting the same or slightly different phone call ever since.

I had them call me ten a voice message with just someone walking

As above staright after I responded to a quiz by Bush Heritage, there were two calls . Recorded message saying they were from Community Outreach ??

What happens if they now know my number because I called them
