Caller: Scammer (by mobile & landline) Two step scam: Smishing (‘commonwealth-bank alert’ fake) from scammer + Phishing (landline offered phone) from scammer
1. SMS (from scammer) mob = 0481 241 168. (This is NOT commonwealth bank!! Don’t even consider phoning them; that gives them missing info they need without you even speaking ; they legitimised your mobile number by you simply calling them) 2. Phishing (from scammer) landline = (02) 8091 3620 (Warning:- Again, you call them and, they ‘have you’ , let alone what you disclose verbally)
SMS/Txt message is a ‘lot of bollony’ …. ‘600.10 AUD to BC AUTO LTD. …. It’s all ‘bull dust’ !!! It’s word to trap you whether you deal in bitcoin or not!!
On iOS device, for the scam SMS, I click ‘report message’ (if you have ‘spam’ turned on in settings) and then I ‘blocked number’ .

Message reads: “CommonweaIth-BankAIert: Your validation code is 210947 for a TRANSACTION of 600.10 AUD to BC AUTO LTD. If this was NOT you, please call us on (02) 8091 3620 REF: COM1044”
Do NOT call this ph (02 … x3620); this is clearly a phishing message.
Mobile number 0481 241 168 and 0280913620 have BOTH been dobbed into the authorities (ie. ACMA spam txt reporting)
