SCAM...Impersonating a member of the RAAF selling a car due to being sent over seas....payment through Ebay....goes by the name of Tracy Joy Williams....Google has many stories on this SCAM....

This person is still SCAMMING !!!!

Thank you for contacting me and sorry for taking so long to reply, I've been messed around by one previous buyer for lack of funds, I can confirm that the car is still for sale and never been involved in an accident, Nobody has smoked in it, I've attached some pictures so you can take a closer look at the car, excellent condition without any damage or scratches at all, Mechanically A1, it's a fantastic car, only traveled 58,812 kms, all of which being said I expect to get $ 7,000 for it. The only reason for selling this car so cheaply is because I am involved in a project and I will move to New Zealand on February 19th and not come back for the next 3 years. It's the first time I've been to New Zealand and I'm a little nervous but excited at the same time. It would be a shame to keep the car in the garage for 3 years without being used and I also need some cash before leaving for New Zealand. Selling on Facebook marketplace under the name Daniel Liang with an automatic message to the same email address. Hope this helps others.

Exactly the same thing happened to me today with a 2013 Nissan Navara. Seemed too good to be true. Got the email from Tracy and it seemed a little strange. Lucky i googled her name and all these comments came up.

The same happened to me on Sunday. I fell for this scam and paid 6000. Also reported it to my bank and police today. It seems like no one is getting any of their money back though.

Tracy Joy Williams trying to sell a Qashqai TI now for $6500 with 60000ks on it. Same story, RAAF in TAS, going to NZ in 10 days. Buyer fell thru. Boat and transport provided. She is listing on Autotrader. Provides her drivers license also.

Received same kind of email. Nissan Quashqai TI for $6500. The vehicle had 60,000k on it. Tried to dial the phone number and it does not connect. Number given 0480 010 847. She even sent copy of her drivers license. Seemed too dodgy. Asked if she would call back, no reply.

Everything was the same for me.
I brought a 25k car for 11k, transferred the funds into a third party acc saying that they would hold onto the money until I have confirmed that I am keeping the car then they will transfer the funds into "Tracys" acc. I was given a invoice that looked legit asf and she also sent me a copy of her Licence.
Told me it would take 2-3 days to ship its been 4 and she said she leaves for Nz on the 29/9/21.
I paid the money and never heard from her or the "agent" again.
I reported to the police but who knows how long that would take so trying my best to also do some digging.
Praying that somehow I am able to get that money back since I made a loan for that car.
