Claimed to be neighborhood watch. Scam

AGAIN! targeting my very small home business for the second time. Luckily I have already experienced this call from this phone number so I really put him in his place and told him he should be disgusted in himself! He said the same crap about a police neighbourhood watch newletter, and I told him I've already been contacted by you scammers. He was very persistent that it is not a scam, and he understands why I would think that. DON'T BELIEVE THEM! The police would not be targeting a tiny business like mine to fund their ANYTHING.

Had a call from this number and two others today where it rings once then hangs up. When you try to call back it disconnects as soon as the call is goes through. Rang Telstra as thought it was a problem with my phone!

Targeting small home businesses. Falsely claimed to be representing funds for police neighbourhood watch newsletter (which police don't even know about!) They are a media company and do not serve as any form of charity. Block this number! Do not spend money on any ads with this media company.

Male caller saying its for neighbour hood watch program - he started the phone call with "Hi how are Ya" i knew any professional would not say "ya" total scam. blocked number!

Male from this number 0478 287 016 contacted me regarding fundraising for a police program "Streetsmart" program for kids on drugs and alcohol use. Offering a 3 tier sponsorship, gold silver and bronze. I requested him to email me the information, still haven't received anything. I phoned the number, went to voicemail.

I returned this missed number and got a voicemail with the same voice as the voicemail on this missed call 0478 287 016 - I have blocked

Had a call from a young man today from this phone number. Told me that he required money from my business as we are required to make a contribution to a police calendar. Basically told me that I had no choice and that I must contribute.

These people are essentially extorting money From small businesses they get the phone numbers from Instagram and Facebook if you are silly enough to have your phone number on there.

I’ve contacted the police and the police have advised that they have no connection with the above-mentioned company.

I was told that it was AFP - and wanting to publish an ad in a police journal and he will issue certificate and it will cost $350.

Yes a girl called and said " mate we are bring out police journal " immediately I said I am not interested . Scam

Claimed to be a Constable calling from Fullarton Police (there is no Fullarton Police station) requesting sponsorship money for a community magazine to raise awareness on drugs and crime.

Neighborhood watch scam. they have rung me several times on different mobile numbers every time.

Claimed to be from the police and neighbourhood watch - quite vague. I say SCAM......

The caller claimed to be some kind of police association, but he didn't even identify his job title or give me his name. I think it's very unprofessional scam.

Gets abusive if you do not agree to send money. I would say it is a scam
