Received a text from someone unidentified claiming I sent them a progress payment request

Received a text from someone unidentified claiming I sent them a progress payment request.

Caller: St George Bank

I received same message re ivr ( interactive voice response). I think its loans admin number. Confirming my redaw request for internet banking.

I am not Westpac customer. Here is the text.
Dear customer,please contact the Westpac group on 1300 720 314 (Option 4) regarding the recent letter we sent you on 28/11/2018 quoting reference 50678510 . Do not reply to SMS.

Thanks for your progress payment request. It's now been actioned and funds will be paid in the next 48 hours.

I actually did request a drawdown from Babknof Melbourne during the days prior to this message. This is legitimate.

Text received after requesting a progress payment with the Bank of Melbourne. It's a legitimate message but doesn't identify who it is from

Also received text "Thanks for your ivr request. It's now been activated".
Possibly scam, no "ivr" request submitted by myself.
HOWEVER, just read above may be St George Bank as day before sent an email to the loans admin requesting a redraw facility on my loan...online/telephone.

This was in response to my St George redraw request. I’m guessing companies are using the same messaging provider which recycles numbers.

Some sort of scam obviously

SMS: "Thanks for your progress payment request. It's now been actioned and funds will be paid in the next 48 hours."

Phoned the number on a different phone and got the "The number you have called is disconnected" message

Sounds like a scam. IVR request. Not sure how it came through as a known number.
