This number is real but the speaker in the phone call is a scammer. A man speaking Mandarin, with what sounded like a Taiwanese accent, told me that I had sent an undeclared and illegal package from China and that I was in breach of international law. This man knew my surname, but I am not sure if he knew my full name. When I asked him to confirm if he was immigration and asked him for his full address, he got annoyed and hung up immediately. f*cking scammer! Rubbish! The government department will not call you directly and will not speak Mandarin! Go to the hell scammer!

Caller: direct to PayPal

This number is contained in a scam email allegedly sent from PayPal. It's the number you are directed to contact if you want to cancel the purported "order" for $611.13 monthly for Coinbase Global, an order of which I have no knowledge and did not authorise. I have reported this scam direct to PayPal

Yeah the same thing happened to me. I ended up losing $700 due to me believing in the spam, no luck getting the money back at the moment. What was scary is that the voice sounded exactly like my son's, I hope these criminals get punished.

For the last three months I have been receiving calls at least twice a day from numbers starting with (08) 8473 13 and then two digits. So far in excess of 25 separate phone numbers have been used. Despite blocking all of them they continue to come through on my mobile or alternatively the caller uses another new phone number. The caller comes up on reverse Australia as anonymous. At best they are nusiance calls however suggest scammers who won't go away! Beware.

I received a SMS message at 02:53 in the morning. It said that my order could not be shipped due to a missing address in transit and to fill out information by clicking on a link. I looked up this phone number on Reverse Australia and `sorry, no results were found'. I believe this was a scam message, so I did not click on the link and deleted the message from my phone.

Beware of this unlisted number as it is almost certainly yet another spoofed number being used by cyber criminals. As this number was not recognised it was left to ring out with no message being recorded on completion.

Caller: Aust Post?

Got this message. I don’t believe Aust Post contact you by text message? Don’t they leave a card in letterbox or under the door? Anyway, someone was home all day so no excuse not to deliver! I didn’t click the link. Taking message to post office to confirm…

AusPost - An attempt was made to deliver your package on 29/5, and it is currently being kept at the post office. To arrange for another delivery, please modify your information at: https://massive.mom/6P4J5Z

I clicked the link and it just sent me to the auspost website, does it work for anyone else?
