Don't know who called, but called my phone a couple of times in one day. No message left, so didn't try a call back. I'd say they called twice within a couple of hours to make me think it really was someone I might know trying to get in touch with me. They have not called back again.

Rang today claiming that they were aware of overseas criminals attempting to gain access to details from my phone.
Very shaky on my personal details even down to what my current phone is. Scammers trying to sell security

Amazon Prime scam apparently based in Thailand
0425 354 909 at 1.47pm press 1 TO CANCEL Amazon Prime subscription etc go along for a little while, incomprehensible drivel then hang up. Received following calls

Possibly thought I was hot prospect, then again could be just SOP

usual scumbag scamming behaviour: rings x 3 or 4 then stops - voicemail activated but no message left - just brief high pitched noise. Following anti scamming advice from Australian government, if you don't recognize the number, do not answer. If they're genuine, they'll leave a legit message.

My wife received 6 calls in a single day from this number; such a pain!

Accepted call but got no answer. They hung up after about 3 seconds. Number now blocked.
Getting these random calls along with the relentless scam texts is getting frustrating :(

Caller: Adam from Telstra

Claiming to be from Telstra security department.
He had called from another number and claimed my IP address was being used by multiple people all over the world.
I hung up on him so he called back straight away from this number.
Became quite abusive after I asked for more details of who I could speak with to confirm his identity.
He became even more abusive after I called him a scammer!

Another silent call - I'm at the stage where I don't answer the call unless I recognise the number. :/

Caller: Claims to be fro Telstra

A guy with an Indian accent and an English name said he was from Telstra and they were seeing issues with my internet connection.
Asked me to press the Windows button an R. I asked if that would link him to my computer and he said yes and he would fix the problem. I used some good old Aussie language and hung up

Also add 0425 354 909 - why cant the various networks do something about these scam calls or should that be scum calls
