Called twice, while I am in work, and not allowed to answer personal calls... but they never leave a message... if it is Bupa why is it from a mobile, surely they would use a land line ? I am very unsure if it is actually Bupa because surely there staff would leave a message and a phone number to call you back on... After all the phone scams and the stealing of peoples details from other places... I think I will block this number, seems a bit suspicious... the fact no message is left...

They said they are from Bupa Custom Care and have some questions about my Bupa paperwork and ask me to provide my details. I refused to provide and then contact Bupa official number found out there was no enquiry about my paperwork from Bupa side. I think this number 0403 659 804 is a scam.

For some reason Bupa is reaching out to me via a mobile phone number and is asking for my personal details. Why on earth wouldn't they send a courtesy email first saying they'll reach out to me? I also find it in poor taste that they are asking for my details based on absolutely nothing trustworthy from their end. They should be providing a case number to me which I can confirm.

0403 659 804 - when I called back I got the BUPA customer care desk.

I just changed health funds from BUPA. They sent me an email asking me to reconsider. Replied saying “No because BUPA are too dear after jacking their prices up”. Now they are hassling me on this number.

I have talked to BUPA via Whatsapp. They said, it is a scam.

They would say they are calling from payment team, and ask for your personal information straight away without greeting.

I picked up the call. I usually stay quiet until the other end say somthing. I didn't greet or say anything. The other end was quiet for 30 seconds and it hung up. I'm sure it's scamer.

It was from Bupa. I recently changed my private health insurance provider, and they called to check in and see if I needed any assistance. Although I didn’t have much to discuss during the call (cuz I thought was scam), I still received a follow-up email from Bupa shortly afterward.

They call themselves bupa customer service, but should be retention team. They asked many questions trying to save you. If you really want to go, just say “prefer not to answer “. They would read a few scripts and let you go.

I got a call from this number earlier today. Didn't leave a voice message. Called the number back. Got immediately diverted and then the call was ended on their side. Now if it was BUPA, why wouldn't the call be diverted to their call centre??

This is bupa when you cancel or transfer your policy they call to see if they can keep you from switching, found them actually helpful and i’m now staying with them as they offered same policy with a huge reduction on it. It’s not a scam for anyone writing in the comments it’s a scam.

A woman, strong foreign accent, after a long silence, said she was from Bupa. She asked for some details for proof of identity. Then went through many privacy etc. terms. I said I'd ring her back and she gave me the Bupa 134 135 customer service number. I gave up trying that because it was taking too long to get through all the menus and get to a human. Interesting to see the other comments here. I also left Bupa recently due to the high premium.
