Caller: 0403 659 804 Called me on a public holiday which is weird at the first place. Then mentioned I have a payment problem and like to talk to me but need to confirm my personal information, name , birthday. I don’t feel comfortable to give those those information then they send me a confirmation email though Donotreply @ bupa.com.au. I hesitated to give my home address when she asked and ask if this payment problem can be solved in store. She said yes, but it’s very important and need to be solve asap. I asked like now? She said no. I said then I’ll go to the store next Monday and solve it. Then I asked her to leave a note in my file about the call today. She said she needs to confirm my detail before she can access my account. It makes no sense since she is confirming so she should have authority to my system and leave message. I reckon it’s a scam.

Caller: BUPA Likely real BUPA. I have cancelled health insurance with them 2 days ago and now got a missed call. Weird though that it is from mobile number and no message left.Y

Caller: Not sure - no message so who cares. Called 3 times - no messages, I have put this number on a block list.
If it is BUPA this is terrible customer service and spam calling from a 'mobile' number. If it is actually Bupa they've just lost the right to call me as I will not receive calls from that number any longer.

Caller: No Message Left so No Idea Since I cancelled my Bupa during cooling off period I filled out the survey and clicked DO NOT CALL to discuss. So the fact they are calling verifies that in fact they don't listen to their customers and I am happy I cancelled.
No message, no pickup, no call back - so I treat it as a scam.

Caller: 0403 659 804. 4 missed calls from 0403 659 804. I checked my online BUPA account and my last bill was overdue. I paid the bill online. The phone call might be legit or could be anyone with knowledge of the overdue amount. Best to not give anyone yur details and deal with it yurself imo.

Claimed to be from BUPA’s payment team trying to take payment for our ‘overdue’ account. Were paid up until the end of September (it’s currently mid July). Hung up. Will visit a BUPA storefront and find out what is going on.

Called me at least 3-4 times as I had missed calls, no voicemail. I picked up today and they lady claimed to be from BUPA then jumped straight into wanting to verifying my ID details on the account. When challenged by me as i didnt know who they were calling off a random mobile number and wanting my details, they said they were from the BUPA payments team. I said there are no payment issues and i've received no emails from BUPA about payment failure as they would normally do. I said i'll log into the BUPA portal and check myself and update any credit card details myself if needed. She then offered to update it for me, i said no and stop calling me. Logged into my BUPA and i'm currently paid up for another month and valid credit card details provided. scam.

Caller: BUPA Call is from BUPA’s payments team. I was asked to confirm my details, explained I was uncomfortable since the call was from a random mobile number and so they sent me a reminder email about my payment while I was on the phone with them. Seemed sketchy, but it checked out.

I recently switched from BUPA to another provider so it adds up that this call is probably about that. But they didn't leave a voicemail or anything so it doesn't feel very official. I will contact them directly myself regarding a partial refund.

Indian accident camel claimed she was bupa payment team. When questioned why it's from a private number, her answer was “we call from the line that we are not sure what number it shows” then she ask permission for record, then start asking for personal details. I told her I done feel comfortable your number is a private number, send me an email for whatever you need. She is like, Ok..LOL. Real Bupa payment team have maybe some sort of KPi, they would never let you go away with ‘send me an email!’. It's definitely a scam

This number has called me the past 2 days. When I pick up, no one there, so red flag .. hang up. I just got an email ( few minutes after the call) from BUPA saying they have tried to contact me. Very unprofessional given all the scams these days.

Received call from mobile number 0403 659 804. Picked up a waited a few seconds and could hear the delay - first sign of scam. Caller greets and then starts asking for personal information, wouldnt disclose what the call was about until they did the verification check. Bonkers, they called me so they would have my details already and ridiculous to only share that the call is about "payments". I told them i will call back on the Bupa customer line. If they need me, they will leave a message or email. I Suspect Scam

Suggest you dont call mobile numbers back regardless. But if you do and you think it may be BUPA, then hang up and Call BUPA by their general number and ask them to check your account.

I get calls from this number. It may be BUPA, but I dont trust a mobile number from a big organisation like BUPA. So I suggest you call BUPA's general number to follow up your account or membership details
