Caller: Rob Fuller

Rob didn't identify what organisation he was calling from. He said he was calling about a local Police & Neighbourhood Watch initiative to produce a Street Smart newsletter, asking for up to $400 to contribute to its production and distribution.
I asked where he got my contact details from and he indicated "they probably got the number from Facebook or LinkedIn". This was not possible, so I disputed this and declined his offer. I live in Victoria, so it seems he is ringing around other states!

I called back the number 0401 120 055 and reached vm that did not mention the company name

The guy sounded old but said he was from Neighbourhood watch and wanted a donation to promote my business. I didn't give any information but have had a missed call from this number since the initial call. Dodgy!!

This number called to today asking to speak to the business owner. Wanted to pay to advertise in some local news letter beware it’s a scam

Claiming to be from neighborhood watch wanting me to support in return for advertising for my business. 3 levels of membership gold, silver and bronze ranging from $300-$800. Doing a Street smart campaign. I just said I couldn’t afford it. Also I’m from Adelaide, SA.

Rung and then hung up. Also followed up quickly by number ‭0478 287 017‬ which is the same scam but they too hung up after I answered.

The caller, asking for funding for a 'Street Smart handbook for kids' is dodgy. I called the Police to confirm and they advised it is a scam. It has been reported to the ACCC.

SCUM pretending to be from the Queensland Police trying to scam money to advertise in their newsletter.

Scam caller claiming to be calling on behalf of Qld Police Service (QPS) asking for information to put together a "Street Smart" booklet about kids and drugs. Once questioned about their actual connection to QPS, they hang up. The number they called from is 0401 120 055.
