Just got a call from this number and this message was previously left by it “This is Big Village (ABN 39 126 100 276). In the coming days we will call to see if you can take part in an important study on behalf of a government agency.” Is it a scam?

Text message saying they were from Ipsos (ABN 52 070 101 352). Contacted Business registation and this ABN is still available. Be very aware.

Did a survey for them, wasn't a scam. Just cold called me though , i didn't sign up for it. Up to you to decide if it's spam or not.

Cold calling auto-dialed numbers, claims to be doing "research" on behalf of the government. Repeatedly calls over and over and over again, sends text messages informing you. Harassment at this point. If they are legitimate, maybe they should stop emulating scammer behavior. I've blocked them but I still see them trying to call every few days in my call log. This is 100% SPAM and harassment, bullying people into participation.

Dialled once and then hung up. Called back and got voice mail saying they do market research. I'M ON THE DO NOT CALL REGISTER. VM says to leave your number to be removed from their call list, then when it goes to voicemail it says they've exceeded their VM limit and I can't leave one??? Leave people alone. Received a call from this number but when I picked up, they hung up. Reading comments, I'll block it.

I receioved a text message from this number saying it was "Big Village" (ABN 39 126 100 276) advising in the coming days they will call for me to take part in a government study. I looked up the company and it exists but I don't know if this is legitimate so I've blocked the number.

They claimed to be Ipsos but the number is a generated mobile number. It is also automatically flagged as spam by Telstra prepaid mobile devices so it's likely not ligament but even if it is the answer is a hard FK no.. the government can eat my turd burgers.

Received a text message saying they will be calling about a gov survey. Got a call but didn’t leave a message a few days later. Blocked as scam call.

Text message sent a few days prior to receiving the call claiming to be IPSOS (Survey company) and will be contacting me about an important government survey, I have no contacts in Melbourne so it was easy to ignore the call.

Caller: Ipsos

Ipsos sent out an SMS about wanting to survey regarding a government department. Based on earlier answers about this phone number, it's most likely Ipsos. I don't answer surveys unless they pay, and plenty of them pay.

Just block it, unless you imagine that your opinion could weight decisions about a government department doing something better for we, the people.

Got an SMS from them saying they were Ipsos and would call later in the week for a survey. If they really are Ipsos then why doesn't the number show up in a Google search linking to their website? Why does it only show up link to scam call reporting sites? They're idiots if they really are legitimate.
