I called back number (03) 9955 3000 reached IVR for ANZ.

The Indian lady called me and asked for my date of birth and security code said they’re from ANZ and wanna talk about my banking details. Please don’t give them as I called ANZ and confirmed. They’re scamming, when an ANZ colleague called you they won’t asked for your security code cuz they’ve got everything!

I see that this number purports to be from ANZ. It is NOT because I have no account with ANZ. Think about it!

This is a legitimate number for ANZ. They asked me no personal questions and called to verify a large (suspicious to them) transaction that locked my ANZ account out.
They then unlocked my account, which only ANZ can do.

This was a genuine call from ANZ. It was a follow up call from a request we had made around insurance.

Was a follow-up to my credit card application. Seeming to be legitimate.

Only asked me to confirm my full name, did not ask for any personal information regarding security codes.

Queries from the service staff were referencing payslip information that would have been extremely difficult to get outside of ANZ. (Such that if this was a fraudulent call, my account would have been long since compromised).

Call centre is based in India, but spoofing through the ANZ front-facing number per their "Know your Customer" page.

Genuine call. I checked with ANZ and its their Customer retention team calling from the call centre. I discussed about my home loan.

Called me to confirm credit card application. Knew my info and didn’t ask for anything, they also had documents I sent them. Was definitely ANZ

(03) 9955 3000 is definitely a scam so watch out. its an Indian call centre. They reference ANZ but its a fake IVR when you ring back. I looked up ANZ and they have two numbers: 1) If you're already registered for ANZ Phone Banking, simply dial 0800 103 123 or 2) Call 13 13 14 for self-service phone banking 24/7. To speak to a customer service consultant, call us between 7am – 10pm, any day of the week.

This is a legitimate call from ANZ. This number is listed as a support number on ANZ's support website. The call I received was from ANZ's discharge team which we initiated on behalf of the client as the broker.

ANZ, call, called regarding a fraudulent purchase I had made, they were advising the money was going to be credited and if seller disputes, money would be debited again.

A caller said he is from ANZ home loan, When I refuse to give any details, they hang up. I call this number later and there is a voice massage that says it’s ANZ self service number

Called in response to suspicious credit card transaction identified by ANZ.
Rang back, but was on hold for almost an hour until answered by ANZ staff … they cancelled my credit card and cancelled the suspicious transaction and issued a new credit card …

This is a legitimate outbound number for ANZ. I was suspicious but they called to verify a large transaction that locked my ANZ online account.
They then completed the transaction and unlocked my account. I was on hold trying to call ANZ to resolve the issue when they called from this number.
