I called back number (03) 9923 0179 reached IVR for a company called Select Your Energy.

Getting 3-4 calls per month, offering me insights re my super, my Internet, my phone....

Missed 3 calls from this number today, no message left.

When I hung up on them the first call as they were obviously scammers, they've continued calling me each day. However, if I answer they hang the phone up. If this number calls you, block it. If they can't scam you, they'll harass you.

Are these related (03) 9923 0172 & (03) 9923 0179 & (03) 8080 5479?


I got a call from some dumb person, who advised they were a energy comparison company wanting my information, I was put through to an even dumber supervisor, of whom I asked what was there company name and ABN, and was told that they could not give out that information (so that I could do my own checking/due diligence).


However they expected that I give them my personal information so they could get me a great deal (or better still scam me, ha ha. I asked then to remove me from their dialling list, and I have blocked the number.


I also called back the number (03) 9923 0179 reached IVR for a company called Select Your Energy.


I did an ABN Lookup using Select Your Energy and it came up with 30 companies lol.


I feel that the organisation and people behind this number are unethical as they have trained their people not to be transparent with who they are, and request your personal information.


THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS.


and I do not believe that they have removed my number from there database, so I expect to be called again if not on this number which is now blocked, it will be on another number.


btw yesterday I answered (03) 9923 0172 (notice change in last digit only) and no-one spoke, however I later got a call from (03) 8080 5479 and I spoke to someone who was hard to understand, so I called back and reached IVR for a company called Hottest Offer. I would not be surprised if they are the same scammers.

rings every single day 2-3 times a day. have blocked them.
