It is from a very high pressure telemarketer, who states quite clearly the they are Telstra and then continue to supply you with discount phone rates.

The moron I spoke with was called Max (or so he said!)

Very high pressure to pay the line rental of $35.00 per month.

He did supply me with the following...
Teligent, 627 Chapel St, Melbourne.

After realising that this moron is not from Telstra,

I rang my Phone provider and asked them to note on my account that it is not to be switched over to anybody.

It (the phone call) sounds very genuine but the high pressure got me interested to make sure he was from Telstra, which upon quizzing him very very savagely I found out it is Teligent.

He had my address, phone numbers and my personal surname, the number he rang belongs to our business.

Not impressed!!!!

Ditto - we've had a load of these calls that ring off once they hear our IDR - then our abandonment rate looks really bad and we have to explain to the bosses that it is mostly spam calls.
Just called the 1300 number and got a lovely girl who helped. We'll see what happens next month...

More than daily calls from these clown, despite being on Do Not Call register. Purporting to be Telstra (or using name Telecom, don't recall). Never leave messages.

Young lady was helpful. Apologised and said it should stop within a day.

Multiple calls, hangs up or doesn't leave a message if not answered. Call back gets a generic voicemail message for their message bank service that says the voice mailbox is full and to try again!

This is a preasure sales person from Teligence Australia trying to talk me into purchasing their phone services.

Provided an instruction to remove my number from their call list. (So far I've logged at least a dozen sales calls from Teligence on my diary so far.)

The person on (03) 9826 3109 claimed to be Resh Adams which has a full message bank when you try to contact this number. Numbers (03) 9826 5554 and (03) 9827 5745 are also associated with Teligence marketing calls. Also has an office in Sydney with a contact number of (02) 8223 1909.

This company has or had a working relationship with 'Telstra Clears International'. I don't know if 'Telstra Clears International' is associated with Telstra Australia but some marketing calls, from Teligence Australia, occured around a similar time period that sales people from Telstra - White Pages were trying market me.

On au.linkedin.com David Domeney claims to be the Managing Director Australia and New Zealand at Teligence Limited.

The UK Teligence site at www.teligenceuk.com/#!australia confirms David Domeney as the Managing Director of Australia with contact details of 0447 600 777. This site also indicates that Douglas Tasovski is the Operations Director with contact details of 0409 956 666.

The Australian web site at teligent.com.au sports the slogan "100% Australian" when this is actually a subsiduary of a UK company.

Are there any solicitors out there that can do something with this as I am finding that these telemarketers are a real pest that don't want to be told to stop harassing people like me.

After several annoying and time-wasting calls, I reported this number to ACCC's SCAMwatch. Anyone else being harassed by calls from this number can do the same.

This number calls our business, and hangs up after about one ring.. Happens multiple times a week..

They never stop calling

Im on a do not call list but they still ring me.Didnt answer it (looked familar and it was saturday arvo and we run business from home so out of hours)and they didnt leave a message.

Please can my details be removed from this post. They are incorrect, Teligence is not associated with the company Teligent. Can the moderator of this forum please ensure that comments posted are correct.

This number has rung us at least once a day for the last month. Most times they hang up when we answer. We have asked to be taken off their call list but hey keep ringing. Our next step will be one of legal recourse as they are wasting our time and tying up our phone lines.

Something has to be done about their harrassing people; unacceptable rudeness and bullying tactics! I've had them! If any member of the public harrasses another person like this and we knew their name we would take them to Court!! I've also listed their number as SPAM on my phone.

yes i have had nine calls today and phoned the 1300 number to request removal of my number only to be told by an answering service this cannot be done

Have had dozens of calls in the last week, when i told the wanker to take my number off the data base he called me a f*ckhead and hung up.

Received a few phone calls from this company (teligent.com.au). They are very pushy & try to make you think they are Telstra. I asked to be put on their do not call list & the operator said he couldnt do that. After questioning this, he agreed to put me on the list...

Incredibly rude and annoying, eventually hung up on them, they then continued to call and want to argue about being hung up on !. Reported to Telstra who are unable to assist.

Their fax number is 1300 889 094. If you have some spare time you can amuse yourself by repeatedly redialling it. If enough people do it often enough they will have to change it, and then list the new number on their website.

And then we can start again.
