Same old same old. Twice in two days this number has phoned and hung up after I had answered.

Hangs up when I answer. If I do callback they hang up on me. Weird!

its a form of telstra marketing. under telecommunication laws you ARE allowed to receive communication from business you are already in partnership with (i.e.have phone/net/whatever with telstra) so therefore the Do Not Call register is irrelevant in this case. Call Telstra marketing on 1800 039 059 and follow the voice prompts to make them stop calling you. Hope this helps ease some frustration for people

This number called our home phone and we are registered on the do not call register. It rings 5 or 6 times but hangs up before I reach the phone. Grrr!
