Spam phone number! Do not call back.
I called and spoke to them and they said that, “their system hadn’t updated this is why they called.”
I had a payment arrangement and they should of had this in the system. I called the 131245 agl # and I let them know what happened. The operator checked my account and said, “this is very strange and suspicious as a payment agreement has been set up already and we did not need to call. Also, there is no record of the call. It is Spam call. Please block this 03 number”. Have reported this to the spam government website. Ppl be careful. ALWAYS call the 13 agl number.

It is not AGL. It is scammers who are pretending to be AGL.

Just spoke to AGL. My call from this number was genuine and it is actually their number. They have been told it is being identified as a spam number and that they need to clearly identify themselves when they call.
Note, i called them on their 13 number and asked them to check my records to see if i had been called by them, they identified the exact time.
Not a scam or spam.

Funny I just called AGL about my account, and i was sent around the houses, I checked the web, got the numbers and called, I got two disconnection when I asked to be transferred to an Australian number and person who could understand me.

5 mins later I get a call from this number, I did not answer it.

AGL if you want people to call you back given them an Australian number with someone who can talk about teh account, but understand what I am saying.

Interrupted my work-day to tell me the account I paid a week ago (on their internet portal) was overdue. Hung up when I asked why they don't know that I'd paid and offered to email them a copy of the receipt. Oddly amateurish for a large company. I suppose I wasn't very nice about it either.

I told them that we do not have AGL in our area of Central Queensland and said we only have Ergon Electricity and why are you ringing from Melbourne. Have rung at least 30 times in past 6 months.

This is a genuine number for AGL. They were correctly calling about my outstanding balance.
