Caller: Possibly AGL?

Have had a few missed calls from this number. Decided to answer it and it was a lady who said she was from AGL. I was immediately suspicious as we had just called them yesterday. She asked for my current address and I said she should give it to me because she is the one who called. She mumbled something very quickly and said goodbye and hung up! Seems suss to me...

AGL - Predictive dialler calling accounts "by accident". I rang back and the person I spoke with was uninformed and just wanted to get me off the phone.

I received three calls today from someone in India stating my electricity bill was overdue, which it wasn't. I called number back and asked to be put through to someone in Australia who could speak English. I was transferred to a complaints dept. After I relayed the story and told them I would be seeking another supplier I was then offered 23% discount on future bills. I am currently receiving 15% discount. Why aren't loyal customers automatically receiving this discount? My electricity bills are quite high per quarter.

Scammers pretending to be AGL. Male caller asked for me by name but I refused to confirm my identity. I said, "How can I help you?" and asked what the call was regarding. He would only say "[my] account" and when I wouldn't give him any more info, he said "Oh my god!" in frustration and hung up.

Said they were 'AGL Anytime' - but obvious a S.C.A.M.

Hang up and block the number. I did.

This is a scam. Tell them nothing except you are recording this conversation.. they will hang up. AGL or any big business would never ring and chase details or payment.

Received calls yesterday and today. An indian-accent female claimed to be from AGL and then some word I could barely understood. Challenged her it's scam call and would report to police. She then hang up!

Caller: AGL office debt tracers/collectors/telemarketing officers

Intense calls twice a day to any phone numbers that they have on their hands, once the payment was overdue 2 days, even they have received the money at the 4th day. I have make a complaint to their customer call centre, asking to forward my inquiry to AGL Australia top customer service officers, letting they know that such behaviour were nuisance, I reserve my right to make a complaint to Australia Telecommunication Commissioner and Consumer Affair Victoria, and if happens, I may quit their service to me.

asked for my address and i refused as i was at work
when i asked about which account it was for the woman pretended to not hear me and proceed with asking again for my details.
i will be calling agl to report

Caller: (03) 9649 4610

Person identified himself saying he was from AGL, and asked me to identify myself and the property for which i have my AGL account. I asked him to identify himself, and for which property is he referring too. He refused - Well it was quite obvious this was a scam. Told him i have no AGL accounts, and even so companies will never call if there are issues, but communicate via text/email/mail. I was a bit amused by the bold scam, gave him a bit of verbal abuse and hanged up. Block this call, or have a bit of fun and ask his name, where he lives, his credit card and bank details. Then kindly say, thank you for your time as it has now allowed our team to trace your call. Then hang up!!!!
