These guys conduct market research- they only call you in for things like product testing if you have signed up to their panel, they do not 'randomly call you' to come in for such research, you have to have signed up somehow. If you don't want to receive calls then ask to be taken off their caller list.
They also conduct surveys on behalf of other companies e.g customer feedback surveys. If you keep getting calls for this reason, once again ask to be taken off their calling list.

They are actually not a bad market research company as far as they come. Not a hoax.
You do the survey, of you qualify you get an appointment and get to try new products for big brands and survey them for max an hour. Chips, beer, pringles, cider etc.. are the ones I have tried. Then you get a $50 reward for doing it. You can get more or less depending on the type and length of the survey.
If they are calling you it is probably because a friend recommended you.
I asked my friend to recommend me.
Good for a bit of pocket money.
Try emailing them if calling doesn't help.

This number belongs to 'your source.' a market research group offering money in turn for your opinion at their Chadstone office. They conduct a survey to see whether you qualify for the groups they have coming up and if yes and with your consent they book you in.

We have received 3 phone calls in the last 2 days from this number and they are claiming to have been employed by the Australian Government to do Market Researching on small businesses within Australia. We asked them politely to remove us from their call list as we are not interested.

They called last week, and asked to speak to my son.
My son died last November, I was not thinking clearly just got a shock that someone wanted to speak to him, have been trying to ring them back ever since to check who they were. After reading these comments I now realise that it is a scam.

They have rung 5 times in the last 2 days. I have caller ID and never answer their calls. They do not leave a message and are becoming a nuisance.

They called me last night, I've never been contacted by them before then, they said they were wanting feedback on how I'm finding my Ergon energy account. I said, look it's 8:30 at night this is very inappropriate to call. The thing is, I live in Cairns nth Qld and flew to Victoria yesterday and then I got the call... Strange. They have called me again today but I missed the call.

These people have been trying to call me for last year. They even work on Saturday as well. I live in Sydney so i wont answer interstate calls for this very reason. Someone else below says the company name is Your Source. I have done market research for them in Sydney. I got a $100 shopping card for two 1 hour sessions on potato chips. They'll ask you about twenty questions on the phone first, just to see if you qualify to attend the research. There good if your desperate, not so good if you value your time or are working.

I have a seperate call blocker device (the ones you buy online from USA work perfect on Australian landlines and our phone system). It is effective with all numbers I put into it EXCEPT it will not block calls from this number (03) 9564 5226. When I researched why this could be there are devious methods some marketing and research outfits can use that transmit a number they are supposedly calling from but are not. This confuses call blockers. I have caller ID and never answer the frequent calls from this company. Invest in a call blocker because it does work with all but this number. As far as I am concerned anyone calling me from a blocked or unknown number is hiding something and it is entirely my choice to block them. Any reletaves or others that have valid reasons from blocking their caller ID can always leave a message or dial the 4 digit override code that will transmit their number if calling me. Just because my phone rings does not obligate me to answer it. It is about time we all started lobbying our MPs to permit telcos to introduce call blockers as legal in Australia as they are in the USA and UK. I see no reason why I can't opt out of calls from research companies, charities and political parties who are exempt from the do not call register.

These guys paid my $40 to taste test chocolate a couple of years back. But since then I haven't gotten into the groups because I don't drink (taste testing, and one time they did some vodka ads they wanted viewing and feedback on). If you say you want off the list tell them and they'll remove it.

Soooo, someone said "call (03) 9569 0333 to have your number removed from their list"

I checked this number against reverse lookup....take a look at who the account holder is.

I just received my third call from this number. Finally someone spoke - they said they were calling on behalf of the Victorian Government. I told them not to call my number again. The person tried to speak again - I repeated not to call again and hung up. It will be interesting to see what happens next...

I got a call from this number at about 5:30pm yesterday (Friday) - no one spoke to me, then after about 10 seconds they hung up. Same again today - 10am Saturday. If they ring, they will be told in no uncertain terms not to contact me again.
